3 years 2.5-3 for Bickell on the Leafs. He is exactly what we need on a line with Kadri and Lupul, would play a similar role for Carlyle that JVR does

Leafs will be in on Bickell 100% if he is a UFA...tons of cap room and a team on the rise for a local guy

Bickell has a nice skill set, plus size/strength. Having said that, he could have another gear if put in a more prominent role and plays with more of a net drive. But I think teams would likely regret giving him more than $2.5-$2.75m/yr.
Based on how the playoffs have played out so far, I'd imagine Stalberg's value has taken a bit of a hit and Bickell's has gone up a bit, they're probably both looking at about ~$3.5m/per now.

I hope the jets peruse both in FA. Stalberg would be a good fit on the RW with Kane

Bickell would help Toronto and fill the grit needed. Plus probably scores 20G in a top six role.

I think Bickell re-signs fairly cheap, Stalberg walks for bigger money.

At least I hope that's what happens. I really like Bickell's game and the Hawks can't afford to lose a big body with skill and grit like that.

Where the hell are the $3.5m/per predictions for Bickell coming from? I can see Stalberg, but why Bickell?

Bickell's had a great series against Minnesota & Detroit. I think 3.5m is crazy high, but I could see Bickell getting 4years 12m outside Chicago.

Would like to see the Sharks have a run at Stalberg, with his brother in the system could possibly give us a decent shot.

Bickell is pretty similar to Joel Ward, except younger and better than when Ward was a UFA two years ago (and netted $3m/per). $3.5m for Bickell seems pretty in-line with that.

Bryan Bickell

Seems like an ideal winger to have in your bottom-six in the playoffs. What do you suppose this guy gets in the offseason? Is he the next Joel Ward?

I'd say it's a near certainty that the Oilers will be trying to sign him. A bunch of other teams will want him too, however. I'd even like him on the Flyers next to Couturier, with Read on the RW. Great mix of size, skill, and speed there. Perfect 3rd line. I think the Hawks will retain Bickel if possible even if it means letting Stalberg walk.

I think a team will pay him 3-4 million per year on a 4 year contract if he keeps this PO pace

I want the Hawks to re-sign him badly. At the right price of course.

Flames want to add size and grit to their line-up.

With Tanguay likely being moved (LW) I could see us offering something like 4 x 3.5

Vancouver will attempt to lure him and Stalberg, I imagine. They suit Gillis' stated course.

The chances he or Stalberg are back in Chicago is pretty low. The Hawks have players to sign and little room. He's going to get a nice contract. Heck, he's probably going to get overpaid simply on his playoff performance this season. Detroit, Toronto, Washington, and many others will pay interest.

Chicago can afford them more than Vancouver can, that said, you can take Stalberg for 3+mil.

He should be getting between 2-2.5M per season, similar to Prust last summer.

If he makes it to ufa with the way he has played a team will offer him 3.5-4 mill.
