The Pens need to come up with a strategy that incorporates crashing the net and possibly putting a rebound past a very solid goalie. The refs are not deciding this game. Boston is too good to expect to be able to set up shop and move the puck around everytime we are in their zone. Put it on the net and make sure forwards are screening/in position for rebounds.

4 on 3 to start the 3rd, should be wide open. Lots of space to get Iginla open for a bomb....if he's out there.

At least I think it's a 4 on 3 because of the Kunitz/Peverly penalties.

Oh THATS the reason!? Not Jordy Staal with the back breaking shorty? Not Scuderi saving us in game 6? Not MAF's unreal performance in game 7? Gotcha!

If Sid fights Chara, do we automatically win this series in 3?

The Isles and the Sens tired the Flyers' gameplan in those series as well but the Pens were able to not get sucked in for the most part.

Difference is that, in those series, the Pens dominated Game 1 and had the momentum and the series lead when NY and OTT, tried their crap. Now, the Bruins are beating them and holding the highest scoring team in the POs off the board and the frustration from the Pens is boiling over.

That was clear interference, even more so than the interference call against Orpik.

Inconsistent officiating. Plain and simple.

Cooke gets 5:00 and a game, Marchand gets 2:00. Sad and pathetic.

Wait so we still have the PP? Sick

I'm glad Geno fought Bergeron, put some more fire in the guys. I'm loving the fire in Sid's eyes right now.

We still need to stay focused though, this has the potential to turn into the Flyers series

I agree . . . Iggy's only been on the ice for 7:30. His usage has been brutal IMO.

-Pens have fresh legs but rust shows as shots are wide
-Bruins being pushed around physically
-pens are pushing the pace but not getting second opps, traffic, or much inside the slot
-Rask playing as good as any goalie has
-Shaky 1st goal but Vokoun strong

=Stick with the program, improve aim

The biggest difference between this game and the Flyers series is that we're not down 8-5 right now

That series was an absolutely disaster.

In no way does that poster speak for all of, or even a majority of Penguins fans, but that's just low. Emotions are running high on behalf of the players, and yes, the fans of both teams. It's a game, not the end of the world. Sorry to be all "MOD" here, but I would hope that no Bruins fans, or any Penguins fans going forward, would make such an immature post. It's a great game, and should be a great series. Let's just enjoy it. Best of luck to you guys.
I agree with you. Both teams have had their issues with concussed players and i don't wish that on anyone.
