He goes to the dirty areas and wins most board battles, he's a beast physically and is not scared to use his frame.

So players not from the Q who will be there:

Kerby Rychel
Ryan Hartman
Michael McCarron
John Hayden
Eric Comrie
Spencer Martin
Evan Cowley
Franky Palazzese
Zach Hall
Justin Bailey
Cole Ully
Dane Birks
Maybe Jacob Graves & Trevor Murphy
I'd bet it's Ryan Graves and Matt Murphy, as Marc Lavigne has mostly 'Q clients.

Add one more....Matt Boudens.

https://twitter.com/Boudens28/status/342033014005583874

Smallish overager tough guy from Drummondville. Not exactly a great fighter, but tough kid, hits hard and don't hesitate to defend his teamate.... Great playoffs statswise though.

http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p...php?pid=142129

Note: okay nevermind, you are talking about non-Q prospects....I get it. Thought it would be interesting to know who the overagers were though.

A total of 56 players at #habs draft combine at Brossard today. http://twitpic.com/cvelxb

If there are 35 from the Q as reported, 17 guys from other leagues that I've ID, that leaves 4 other ones.

Boudens is a guy I could see drafting real late(7th) or signing as a FA, maybe letting him play another year of QMJHL. I like his game, plays with an edge and not afraid to drop the gloves, showed some skill this year. Could be a Clarkson type in 4-5 years.

Maybe we're going to offer him a contract. Perhaps the training staff told him things to work on last year and it helped him have a 100 point campaign. Assuming he doesn't get drafted of course.

His production jumped by 44 points this year, definitely a guy I'd look to sign or draft late.

Guillaume Lefrançois ‏@GLefrancoisRC 1m
À Toronto, les #Habs ont rencontré 71 joueurs

Michel Chabot ‏@MChabotRC 1m
56 espoirs invités au combine du #Ch. 32 sont de la LHJMQ.

That would make it 24 guys not from the Q.

Guillaume Lefrançois ‏@GLefrancoisRC 6m
56 joueurs présents au camp d'évaluation des #Habs, dont 32 de la LHJMQ. Du lot, 30 joueurs avaient déjà été rencontrés à Toronto

30 of the players there today, the Habs met them at the Toronto combine.

Outre les Québécois présents au "combine" du Canadien, on note la présence de Bo Horvat, Michael McCarron, Kerby Rychel et Justin Bailey.

Bo Horvat! We're trading up!

He might be there. Habs won't release the list of the players who are there. Marc compiled most of the players who wrote about going to the combine on Twitter, but there are a few names we are missing.

I was there from 10am until 11 am.

Serge Boisvert, Martin Lapointe, Trevor Timmins and Patrice Brisebois were on the ice with the players + a few other coaches.

I saw SEVEN d-men and the guy that was the most impressive had number 95 on his helmet (blue helmet + blue pants similar to the Rangers colors). Every coaches shook his hand and Timmins even stopped a meeting to talk to him before he left the ice. I asked around and it looked like Jonathan Diaby but he was wearing number 3 in Junior.... He was the most impressive.

4 goalies were ther + 2 kids from Midget AAA who were there as shooting targets!!! One of them was Jean-Charles Lajoie's son.

When I left, McCaron had stepped on the ice!

Cheers.
