Toronto:

- Top 6 centre with high end defensive abilities (to compliment Kadri/Kessel/etcs highly offensive/skilled games)

Options? Not much. Weiss in free agency, but he's not quite as good defensively as what we'd hope for. And these types of players rarely rarely get traded. I hope we're able to trade up in the draft to get Horvat or Lazar, who could potentially fill this role in 3-4 years.

- Veteran defensive defenceman, preferably Right-Handed, and needs to be a legitimate top 4 guy.

Options? Roszival in free agency (not quite as good a player as we'd hope for thoguh), a guy like D. Morris via trade, etc.

Big top 6 two-way center
Big top 9 winger
Top 4 or top 2 defensive or two-way defenseman (preferably RH)

And a few more draft picks for the draft would be nice.

if you draft Jones it doesn't fit either of those since he is a RHD

a #1 C, and another top end D-man to play with Phaneuf. I like our depth on the back-end but we need another big minute eater.

The Flames & Preds could be good trading partners I think. Tanguay has averaged about 65 points over a full season in the past 3 years and Cammalleri has put up 51 points in 72 games since rejoining the Flames. Both are believed to be available.

I'd say we could use both a top six rw and lw. We also need a 1/2 d. It's pretty daunting when you write it all down. Mac could play wing and solve one issue. I don't think jones will be a 1/2 d next year but he will one day. I don't see any way of filling the other needs this offseason without opening other holes.

For the Sabres, all of the above - especially if Miller and Vanek are traded this offseason.

Pretty sure you also need a backup goalie, high end prospects (when dats and zetts retire). 2-3 d-men (2-way, defensive, offensive)...

Buffalo seems to be the Calgary Flames 2 seasons ago. Slowly got worse over the course of a few seasons and management dropped the ball when they let the teams slip. Now they have very few assets.

Moulson-Tavares-1st line RW
Bailey-2nd line C-Okposo
Grabner-Neilsen-3rd Line RW
Martin-Cizekas-McDonald

Vis-Top 2 D
MacDonald-Hamonic
Hickey-Strait

Starting Goaltender
Poulin

Prospects are on the way for a lot of the holes. Goaltender is the biggest need.
