Darcy Ashley out 4-6 weeks. Tough way to start the season, but at least it will give younger guys a chance to show what they can do.

Neither game was played in Halifax, so I don't think you'll find too many people here with first-hand impressions of how they played. The limited media coverage and QMJHL game sheets are really all we have until the regular season starts.

Their next pre-season game will be in Halifax, though, so you'll probably hear about a few more details from posters here then.

Ehlers is a stud. Was extremely impressed with him against Cape Breton last Friday. Probably getting a new jersey very soon.

Got my home opener tickets; can't wait to see the banners raised!

Season ticket sales must have been strong, as there were no pairs of lower bowl seats available.

Same as last year that the entire lower bowl is sold out (combination of season tickets and 15 game packs).

I don't think there are many 15 game holders, either.

When picking up my tickets on wednesday night you could see all of the tickets laid out for pickup, and it was easy to tell which were 15 game packs (stack of printed tickets, vs a booklet). Based only on qualitative observation, I'd say probably only 1/10 of those seats were 15 game packs.

What does that mean? It's going to be bloody impossible for people without season tickets to get seats in the lower bowl this year, and ever harder when it's a high priority game that the 15 game holders would have likely taken.

I was just looking at those. It's amazing what people will pay for memorabilia. I wonder what the absolute max price is that someone could sell it for.

I'm definitely hanging on to mine.

I saw a few on Kijiji for $100... some people just want to make a quick buck.

Just cause there listed doesn't mean they're selling. That's the asking price , I'm sure no one is paying $100 +. I'm not even a Moose fan but I'd pay like $20 or $30 for one.

I suppose for people with multiple seats , why not sell one. Recoup some of the season tickets cost and give another deserving fan a piece of the Moose Run.

I've never had a jersey other than the Penguins but I'm going to buy a Tampa Drouin jersey as soon as my size is available on the store =)

Super excited for Thursday night. I'm a bit nervous for the game though. Ashley (injured), Andrews (Ducks), Ryan (Flyers), Fucale (Canadians), Murphy (Blues), and Weegar (Panthers) all out.

How do you think the lineup will project?

I think it's only for Mooseheads' games though. So we're still stuck with "best available" for concerts.

For those interested, Dom Ducharme is doing a Q&A at Government House on September 17th at 7pm. The event is free, but pre-registration is required.
