With the 38th pick the Buffalo Sabres are proud to select, from the Ontario Hockey League, Jason Dickinson.

I'm going to be a bit strict about auto picking now. I'm doing this pick at lunchtime unless it gets done already.

How about....

41) Flyers take Dauphin
42) Coyotes take Poirier
43) Jets take Petan

???? That would put the CBJ up next where I take McCaron or Lodge (I know we'll have a poll.... just my choices)

Settle down, I have the Jets covered and Philly had already picked.

I was going to pick Dauphin but with him off the table...

The Jets are proud to select defenceman Chris Bigras.

Columbus, we are on the clock.

I think we should take a shot at a potential boom/bust candidate.

I'll throw out some names:

Zack Nastasiuk 6' 1" 190 lb RW
Emile Poirer kind of slight but he came on strong;had a good playoff

On the NHL war room rankings it lists Nastasiuk bigger at 6'3" 215".

I like Lucas Wallmark, skilled center who i think also can play as a winger, and what about Justin Bailey? I almost forgot Oliver Björkstrand.

I have already gone on record as being a fan of taking Conor Hurley as a project though what I have read recently about Emile Poirier interests me as well.

My concern with him is he is slight. He'll get bigger but how much is ???

This summary gives me the feeling of all in.

“We’re not going to be reckless,” Kekalainen said. “But as a staff and as an organization, we’re going to be as prepared as possible. And when something is before us, we’re going to act, and we’re not going to be afraid. That’s how you become a championship club. That’s how you rise above the rest.”
