Can definitely say that both Eisenschmid and Sedlar can profit greatly from a 2 year venture in the CHL. Eisenschmid may have a bit more offensive upside, but for now no-one should expect either to contribute all that much in the way of offense. They'll be role players until they've adjusted, then we'll have to see if they come to understand the game in NA enough to contribute regularly or consistantly.

I'd imagine Baie-Comeau will be taking a 94.

Can anyone that watch the OHL tell me anything bout the Saskatoon Blades, David Nemecek. Played for Sarnia last year. Doesn't seem like much.

If they wanted De La Rose to come over, how much do they have to compensate Leksands or whoever he is with?

Personally I wish, more German prospects would head to NA before/in their draft year and not afterwards. Rieder went in his draft year, so did Kahun and Tiffels, Draisaitl and maybe Latta (not sure?) went a year before their draft year.

I am still glad that guys like Eisenschmid and Sedlar take this step, and I understand that it is not so easy for these kids to move abroad when they are even younger, but I still think some would have benefitted if they had gone earlier.

Yeah, nice choice anyway. But there is a new rule in Czech Extraliga (obligation to deploy juniors) and D.Simon is number one junior in Sparta right now...

No. According to rules, they can't. I didn't say everybody followed rules though.

Then why bring it up? Import rules will always be and always have been ignored completely.

Any Russian people here familiar with Radel Fazleyev? Calgary Hitmen's pick. Did well at the U17's.

The CHL should be cracking down on teams that pay large sums of money. One way to solve the problem would be to have all Imports opt in to the draft and that they'll go to whoever drafts them.
