Big defensive defenseman. Slow feet. I didn't see much there. Don't understand the appeal for the Blades.

Well, Daniel Gibl is famous. Last Euro goalie ever drafted into the CHL.

I was worried bout that, I don't like the Blades pick at all. They need d-men but now slow ones. Molleken being the old timer that he is loves big players.

Are all the interesting players for me.
Ehlers - Mooseheads
Bukarts - Wheat Kings
Tuomie - Stampede (USHL)
Gallo - Pretty surprised he didn't get drafted
Huber - Extremely surprised he didn't get drafted

There is always next year for sure.

Also surprised that Luka Gracnar didn't get drafted as well.

E: Oops 2nd round still going.

Is the draft over? Shocked that Søberg hasn't been selected. Should certainly have been picked way before Eller.

No it's the start of the 2nd round but not a whole lot of teams will be picking.

Andreas Eder is picked 61st. I can say that he was looking like Germany's top prospect for next summer's draft. Raw, but boy can he be special with the right coaching. Great right-shooting wrister. A deadly weapon once here starts moving.

Eagles with the bold moves. They've just picked three players that probably won't come over in Nicolas Roy (Q 1st overall pick) , Lazarev and now Svechnikov. That is a ton of skills and they are very young. With William Carrier already being there, a decent defense and solid goaltending, Cape Breton could realistically go from last to first in the Q next season..... if everyone reports to the Cape....

And they would be amazing for a long time... Bureau and Bell are 17 and 16 as well.. this is ridiculous.

I was making a reference to the year 96; when Prince George drafted Chara.

Anyone familiar with Ivan Nikolishin? Everett just picked him. Did well at the World U-17's.
