I feel like I must be missing something. All the information I can find lists Tkachyov as a '93 born. Would be very odd for him to decide to come over as a 20... and for a team to use a pick on a 20.

EDIT-

Maybe I answered my own question?

http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=211956

This guy?

as opposed to that guy --> http://www.eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=77117

Yes, Raimu, you've answered it: there are two prospects named Vladimir Tkachyov, one is 1993 born and had played at U-20 this year, the other one is 1995 born and had played at U-18 this year. We are talking about the younger one.

Julius Honka might go if he doesn't make jyp's sm-liiga team, sounded like he was not interested in mestis or a-juniors.

i think Tkachyov was Barbashev's linemate at the u-18 would he come in moncton to play with Barbashev, they did well together.

Will he fall that far? Kid seems pretty good and Halifax picks twice before Moncton.

I think any hockey player with a good relationship with their father would pick playing on their fathers line > CHL even if they were a born and raised Canadian drafted by their hometown team

Nylander is a 96. Can't come till next year.

Burakovsky is not going to Ottawa. Heard he is staying in Sweden. He won't give up right to play for Swedens World Junior team. New rules set last week by Swedish ice hockey federation state that any player playing in CHL will not be invited to camp. The world juniors are in Malmo Sweden. That is burakowskys home town. He is going to sign with Leksand or Modo of Swedish elite pro league

Sure he can. Nick Sörensen was drafted two years ago as a late 94.

WJC camp roster has Dansk from the CHL and Olofsson from the USHL on it already, so I call total bs.

He did however say that he's leaning more towards playing in Sweden now, where in April he said he's probably going to the CHL.

Dansk was on team last year as 3rd goalie New Swedish rule applies to 96s and down,
Dansk is a 94, Bottom line is swedish ishockey is clamping down,, This is no BS, go to there website and read it, go to trekronar page too, so players already in CHL or US NCAA can still play in National program, 96, 97 etc must stay in Sweden or give up right under new program.

Markus Søberg said he's considering wether to stay in Frölunda or played in the CHL next season. It will be interesting to see if anyone takes him, I would guess so.
