If this happens say 'bye bye' to fun to watch hockey, and expect most teams to bulk up in response. Boourns.

I'm still holding out for a Hawks/Pens final, but if it's Hawks/Bruins I gotta silently root for the Hawks. They don't irritate me as much as the Bears. Their holier than thou, do as I say not as I do, can do no wrong attitude pisses me off.

Hoping for some way that all four teams can be denied Lord Stanley's chalice. Dont' really like any of the teams that are left, although if I was forced at gunpoint the Hawks would be the one I'd choose while holding my nose all the way.

Easy decision - HAWKS

1. I want Marchand to win less than Bolland
2. Hawks are built more like Canucks (I don't want thug style hockey being attractive)
3. As much as I hate them the Hawks have been a worthy opponent
4. We played them very well this season - that has to count for something
5. I really hate Marchand
6. A Hawks win will mean some of their players will appear better than they really are which could drive up contracts to the delight of the opposition
7. Marchand can kiss my ass

Edit: Unless Pitt performs a miracle I see Boston winning though

Bang on, good sir.

One thing I hadn't realized is just how much Toews has struggled in the playoffs over the last few years. 4 goals in his last 36 playoff games. Henrik has more goals over his last 36 playoff games.

Bingo! I do hate Marchand more then any Hawk though. I'm hoping LA takes cup again sick of hearing how great Crosby is.

Boston, because I have Krejci in my hockey pool and buddy in first has Keith and Seabrook. I want that $240.

I don't think boston would have an easy time with either kings or hawks, every ****ing team in west plays this boring defensive style of hockey.

But he's so busy shutting down the best!

And whenever a fan favorite is not playing well, they must be injured.

Crosby, Brown, Kopitar, Seguin, Kane, toews, all must be injured. If sedins dont show up for a series=not playoff performers.

And yes i realize the above have won a cup (sedins were a game away), but this is a team game and many top individuals go missing over the past few years in playoffs, not just the sedins, but those teams thankfully have enough depth scoring to make up for it.

I think with the parity, and focus on defense in the league depth scoring is becoming more important then ever, top players are getting shut down and finding it harder to contribute to offense.

Boston.

Canucks don't play them much and they're mostly forgotten about during the season. Plus I enjoy the Canucks kinda having the last laugh against Chicago. If Chicago win the cup it won't be quite as fun to hold over Hawk fans.

Just had a thought, If the Canucks were still in the playoffs and the Hawks or bruins were not, and I went over to their board and saw a thread about the Canucks making it to the SCF and how they hated us, It would make my day and I would lol.

Would be interesting to watch the conversation if either one of them takes the series to a 7th game despite being decimated by injuries but ultimately loses.
