samuelsson was ditched at about the perfect time. he was amazing while he was here but he was allowed - like morrison and ohlund before him - to walk at exactly the right time
I'm not complaining that Samuelsson's gone, I'm saying it's silly to go "We used to play a Hawks-esque possession game, but our damn coach ruined that!" -- Samuelsson and Ehrhoff were huge reasons why we were that type of team, and their deterioration in play/absence is the reason we're no longer that type of team, IMO.
Favourite player on Boston? Jagr. Easily. Favourite on Chicago? ...Hossa, maybe? Or else Sharp?
Go Bruins. (kill me)
On the bright side (ugh), one of these teams is going to lose. Hopefully in an embarrassing fashion. Wouldn't it be awesome to have Chicago choke and have the Bruins expose them for who they really are? Have Keith cheapshot Marchand, or have Chara beat the **** out of Kane while Toews watches helplessly.
CHI winning would show that winning with their style is still possible in this era. However, I'm more interested in seeing a mini-dynasty in the cap era, and that means a Boston win. Plus, I like Bergeron and Krejci far more than I do any Hawk player.
