What do mean nope? Do you know that or are you just saying?
It would be ridiculous if they didn't accommodate 115,000 people by providing public transport to the game. Were driving down but were planning on parking the car and leaving it parked until we leave.
There is no public transportation here except for buses and the People Mover, which is basically a circular monorail in downtown Detroit. There MAY possibly be special rail service on the planned SEMCOG commuter rail, but they've been promising that for three years now so I wouldn't count on it. This is, paradoxically if not surprisingly, one of the most sprawling and multipolar yet car reliant metro areas in the world.
The drive isn't that bad, it's a straight shot on a highway. The parking situation in Ann Arbor will be pretty fine, too, people just charge you like $5 to park on their lawns.
Crap.. bought mine tuesday and best available was section 29 row 36 green. Also got 4 tickets to marlies sec 142 row 24 and 4 tickets to alum game, went cheap on those sect 139 row 8.
I live in PEI, don't know whether to sell on net or drive wife and kids up for trip..
Would of loved to get tickets but will be away for work still. Will have to settle for watching the game at midnight over here, gotta love the different time zones as made watching the NHL playoffs this year a real treat..
I'm heading down with a bunch of friends on the 31st and saying right in Ann Arbor at the Holiday Inn. Hopefully we can find a good New Year's Eve party somewhere! I've been scouring the internet for details on what's available in case we need tickets for something. Has anybody been there before and know of some good bars?
