I wouldn't call preseason games that "official" as teams are just starting to find their game systems plus rosters change all the time. To see more the levels and gaps between different leagues would mean that they would have to face each other during spring time when all the teams are at their best.

Finnish teams have also been on the ice for 1,5 weeks less than SKA for example. That tends to show in skating.

I actually not only meant team strength but also marketing, how many people know the teams, are they popular etc etc.! And for example Toronto Maple Leafs are the most popular NHL team.

Exactly what I wrote. It's time for official games in the future - no excuses then anymore.

Admiral Vladivostok beat Espoo Blues 5-2 in another game. Earlier today SKA beat Ilves 8-0.

Ambri Piotta thrashed CSKA 6-3! What happened there?

Severstal easily beat Servette 5-1. Severstal has been very good in this pre-season despite losing their best forwards Shipachev and Ketov to SKA.

Avto tied Biel 3-3.

Their first ever game?

Would be nice to have goal scorers and to know who played for Admiral. ^^

yep, they played in czech rep against Plzen and Kometa Brno, Admiral had many chances but did not score, was unlucky.

Does it mean that Admiral is in Finland now? What city? How long?

They have been practicing in Finland for about a week now. The game was played in Espoo. I'm not aware of their future schedule.

They haven't an offical website yet, right? Will be really difficult to find something then who played in what line.

Nice to see that Felix Schütz earned an assist today. Hope he'll become the first German-born KHL player to actually play in the league and maybe open the gates for other talents from Germany.

On the other hand, this Lysenkov guy is not serious in his articles. I read a lot of them and I have opinion they are tabloids. His fellow Slavin is even worse. Arguments in their articles are unintellectual/weird in many cases.

Еще поразила организация этого международного турнира, в котором также участвовали «Давос» и еще один шведский клуб. На стадиончике не было… ни одного полицейского! Потому что в кантоне Люцерн большой католический праздник, и все отдыхали. Вот так, представьте себе…
like this one. He can not be serious if saying that MAIN reason why police was not there is local´s holiday.... really?

Actually the guy is right. There was a Catholic holiday and in German-speaking countries you have barely the police left even for normal police acitivities. That's also the main reason why German football league games are not played during public holidays. Just no police there to ensure security.

then my mistake, but still... his articles are tabloids. I am not so sure if police should be at every game, especially meaningless like this. Maybe security but not police. If police should be at games of this caliber (not only in hockey), they would do nothing else... was it even official game?

As you could see yourself there was no security at the place and I also doubt they would have be sufficient if the Ambri "fans" would have tried to attack CSKA staff and players really bad... actually Ambri supporters are known for violent behaviour from NLA games...

In Germany we even have 100+ police at 4th tier football games with 3000 fans... Thank God our hockey fans are a lot better and you barely ever see a single policeman in arenas filled with 14,000 fans.

Ironically the German state for example fires more and more policemen despite crime increasing by 200% in the last 15 years. They even don't come anymore when people beat their own wifes half to death...

Didn't know Eurosport where showing pre season games.

I'm watching Riga v Ufa right now.

Pihlstrom with a goal and missed penalty shot.

I believe it's this one tournament only.
