Ward is very overrated.

It's close, but Ward's the best of the three.
All the Bold has little to do with the Goalie.

you win by outscoring the other team
Can these goalies win the richard trophy for goal scoring?
No!
you outscore by preventing shots on net.
Can these goalies force the cycle, drive the puck up high, turnover pocession/
No.
once the puck is rdirected at the net.
Can the Goalie stop the pucks directed on net/
Yes that would be Save %.

So the only measure of pucks directed on net (shot) is save %?
Yes!
Who would that be?

Luongo is the best of the three. Though Anderson had the best season of the three I'd but him last. While Anderson is good I don't think he can play at the Vezina level he showed during this season for a full season. Ward we on a bad team and was injured this season, and it seems people forget how good he normally is.

In 11 career OT games, Ward's team has scored within the first 5 minutes 5 times. For Luongo, it's 1 of 17.

1. Luongo
2. Anderson
3. Ward

Luongo is steadier for longer stretches, Anderson can go ultimate for stretches and Ward seems to be on the downside at the moment.

LOL you are ****ing hilarious, Luongo carried the Panthers and Canucks for years, and could still be carrying a team now if he had the opportunity.

Very interesting opinions on him over the years.
IMO Luongo has never been overrated; for a few years he was the best goalie in the NHL overall, playing 70 plus games per season and carrying the Canucks into the 2nd round, when we didn't even deserve to make the playoffs. How he didn't win a Vezina is beyond me.

It's a shame that someone who has the ability to carry teams won't ever likely hold the cup. Ward practically carried the Hurricanes throughout the playoffs when they were down 2 games to none in the first round with Gerber having played said games.

Luongo. He's been good consistently and I think the whole Vancouver debacle threw his game off. On another team I don't think it'd be close.
