I get why he's "scared" of Florida, but his reasons are hardly based in logic. Those of us born and raised in FL know how crazy the state is, but it's not unsafe as a whole. It just has a shotty judicial system. At least the state doesn't **** themselves when the weather is over 90 degrees F or there is over 6 inches of rain like the rest of America does. If you're going to rip on the state of Florida, criticize them properly. Don't be lazy...believe me, there is plenty to choose from in that state (gator fans, governor is a convicted felon, Jacksonville's $350 million courthouse that can't pass fire codes, etc).
My point is that DC and Philly are much more consistent at being lousy cities.
Olympic deal reached for next season per TSN. Break will occur from Feb 9 to Feb 26.
"energy teams" are the most ****ing stupid thing ever. it's basically a second cheerleader squad except with overweight dudes. they don't "pump me up" they make me wanna go postal when they're running around while i'm trying to watch the game.
Florida scares him, but he notes how Washington D.C. is a nice location, and how Philadelphia is an awesome city. But yeah...Florida is scary compared to the bad parts of Philly and DC. Gotcha...
Hehe I remember when was a kid umm 30 some years ago and went to dc and went off main streets and was homeless people a ton of them. Havent been back for years but am sure they aint cleaned that up at all. Yet they are a great city. I mean if we cant get people off streets in capital says a lot on all of our states
Florida I cant see why anyone wouldnt come here with the tax break and the weather. Tampa is not bad is some bad areas etc.. yet is a lot of stuff to do etc..
I understand how miami could scare someone yet not tampa that much.
P.S. Does philly still have rats in visitors locker rooms?
I'm at that point of the offseason where I'm looking at the AIHL and thinking that a year off really didn't hurt Jamie Bourke and noticing that RMU has become pretty good at producing minor league players.
