Not a bad article, Andrew. I thought it was a good read that piqued my interest mainly because I used to be a Handzus fan back when he was on the Flyers.
Still, Crazy_Ike is correct in just about every small argument he's made against the article and Handzus' postseason play IMO.
Hey, Chris, thanks. I'd be happy to discuss it further and I lament we have wasted so much time on the exchange with Ike. I wouldn't say 48% is "embarrassing," especially once you look at situational numbers. I also think "abysmal" is kind of harsh in terms of his even strength play. What would you point to that was that bad? I have watched this series and most of the Hawks other games this postseason, but I assume most of you have seen them all.
I'm not really in a position to defend the Blackhawks' views or Terry Murray's or whomever's, but I can discuss they way they were presented and the bigger picture stuff on Zus's play.
Thanks for reading and of course all comments are welcome, even dissenting opinions and critiques. That's the idea, right?
Danny Duberstein is good at two things ...

Hawks playoff record in which Handzus gets on the scoreboard: 8-1 (assisted on 3 game-winners). Seems like pretty good production for a centerman to me.
truth is more in the middle... but Ike is right with what he said about Zeus and his FO% that really is not good for a specialist or him being a regular/mainstay on the PK while he is only on the 3rd pairing.
