How we fill the 2C role only god knows.
I agree with Brad Richards if we can sign to a good deal. I would also like to sign Stephen Weiss as our #1 centre and Richards as #2. Retain Nystrom instead of McDermid. Sign Horton and trade or buyout Cole.

There are many Ribs lovers(you can count me in) here so why don't bring him back as 2nd line center?

You guys that expect you'd be able to get Couturier for Goligoski and a 2nd are delusional. Especially now that we've signed Streit.

This just in, that discussion was before the Flyers signed Streit. Low effort posting is verboten.

To be honest, I've never seen Arrested Development. I use to listen to Arrested Development though. People Everyday, Tennessee, Mr.Wendel. Check em out. Good tunes.

I didn't get the joke then but that cover did make me laugh. So either way it was funny.

  • Resign Nystrom - 2 x <= 2.25 mil
  • I don't see a reason not to give MacDermid a 1 year two-way deal. You traded for him; might as well see what he's got.
  • Hopefully Benn ends up with a two-way.
  • Indifferent about Bachman.
  • Cole looked decent down the stretch- enough to earn another shot. No buyout just yet, IMO.

Also, am I misinterpreting this, or has/will Glennie be(en) paid $6,000,000+ by the organization under his current contract?

Clarkson for 5 per would be a massively terrible decision.

I agree. Which ever team gives Clarkson a contract like that will regret it in the long run.

99% sure Clarkson is gonna re-sign in New Jersey. Seems like he really loves it there, not sure what the hold-up is.

Waiting for offers from Toronto probably. New Jersey and Toronto are basically his only choices, Toronto is where he grew up and New Jersey is where he is comfortable (With a coach he's known for a very long time).

Benn would be the LW and Eriksson plays RW
As indicated above Nichushkin plays wing (indications are he can play both)

Redo lineup something like thisand you get a Killer Top9 if you can complete the simple task of filling in those Top2 Center spots

Benn -- VinnyL -- Eriksson
Whitney -- FA_Center2 -- Nichushkin
Fraser -- Eakin -- Chiasson

OR if you can only score 1 FA Center:

Nichushkin -- VinnyL -- Eriksson
Whitney -- Benn -- Chiasson

He's listed as a C on some of the things I've read but as a winger on others.

We talked about this a month or so ago. Even if he can possibly play center it appears he's played wing far more than center. Even if he can play center in the future I wouldn't dream of playing him there next season.
