#LAKings Darryl Sutter doesn't name names, but confirms 3-4 guys were "gametime decisions" from Game 6 of SJ series on.

And a lot of you guys want our players to play in the Olympics.

How did that work out for Kopi this past season? Not too good. It's a BAD idea.

Well, we really have no say in it. Their nation comes calling, they're going. We know what happened in previous years with Demitra and Frolov getting hurt in the Olympics. It's been the Kings' luck, but hey, Doughty came away unscathed in 2010!

That's too bad.

In basketball, the players can say "no."

My understanding is this... Brown and Richards hurt. Kopitar isn't. Guess we'll find out Monday. #LAKings
That will be surprising, if true.

Unbelievable what these guys play through. This was the opposite of last year's run, but they battled through and got this far and kept the series very tight with multiple one goal losses. You have to admire the guts these guys have, and it's not just the Kings, but all hockey players.

Damn, wow.

Re: Brown - understanding is if it was regular season he would've been out about a month.

Brown said that pain wasn't the issue with the torn PCL but mobility was ...

We do know that Kopitar played with a knee brace, and having watched some games from 2012 last night and looking at him this season, it's pretty apparent to me that he was skating with a bum wheel. He could deny he was injured, but his knee was not 100%.

Drew Doughty had been playing on a bad ankle, since the San Jose series. More on that later.

Indeed. Kopitar did seem to lack speed that he'd shown in the past, so perhaps the knee injury has slowed him down without leaving him exactly "hurt."

Still, there have to be questions raised about his performance. The goals that he scored were scored from the front of the net, and you don't need to be fast to get there. Kopitar, for whatever reason, turned into a perimeter player this postseason. He's done that before in his career, and I think the greatest obstacle for him is to overcome the instinct to peel off, look for a pass, or go behind the net. He needs to go to the hard areas of the ice.

He could just downplay it, it's up to him whether or not he wants to disclose what was wrong.
