But you don't understand. The Habs have the best defenseman in the league, the best goalie, the best rookie, and the most scoring depth.

That's why they won the Stanley Cup lost in the first round of the playoffs in embarrassing fashion to a team in the middle of a rebuild missing their number center and with their best defenseman playing at 70% coming off a major injury.

They may not have won the cup, but Montreal players, coaches and fans provided endless hours of fun to those in Ottawa through their hijinks. By Hijinks I mostly mean whining.

Those were good times.

I don't agree with the decision, but he had every right to be in the conversation. He had a very good year.

At the end of the day, Karlsson and the rest of the Senators made his team look like children, which is why we really aren't remotely intimidated by him.

Hawks - Bruins tonight. Pretty neutral between these two and am not rooting for one or the other. but will be watching. It should be a great final.

Philadelphia Flyers ‏@NHLFlyers 2m

TRADE ALERT: Flyers acquired (D) Mark Streit from @NYIslanders in exchange for a 4th rd pick in the 2014 NHL Draft http://*******/10c0Z3r
If the Flyers can get him signed, thats a sick trade for them.

They'll just buy out Briere and Bryz.

I was hoping the Sens would pick up Streit. It would have shored up our D for the next 2-3 years without having to move bodies out, which would have saved those bodies for trades for scoring wingers. But clearly Philly needs D more than Ottawa does so the trade makes sense.

We still need one puck moving defenseman badly. Karlsson can't do it all on the PP either. I don't know if I fully trust Weircioch at this point.

Agree with both of these sentiments. Have to see if something swings me one way or the other, or just find I'm caring more about one or the other when the goals start going in.
