I know it's morning for all of the US, but should we install some sort of drinking game for this PC?

Is it wrong that I'm actually nervous about what he is going to say?

Sadly. I think this is likely.

This board will flip if so.

Don't expect anything of consequence to come from this presser. People are going to be disappointed if they expect anything different from "We're disappointed with how the season ended" boilerplate.

If MAF makes it through the off-season still on the team, I'm officially supporting the Pen's Country Club rumblings. Don't know what I'll do when I see MAF starting the season opener with DB behind the bench and Glass on the 4th line.

I hope Shero's answer to all the Fleury questions is "We will look at all options available for us". That's the best we can hope for.

#TribHKY May mean nothing but table instead of podium for Shero #pens

Dan and Ray may have partied too hard last night.

Now that would be the moment. Shero prances in with Bylsma. Starts talking about him staying. Mario barges in, flips table, fires both on the spot.

Hey, if I can dream about the miracle of winning the Publisher's Clearinghouse Sweepstakes, then I can dream about this too . . .

I'm sure as **** not drinking everytime 'get to our game' comes up.

Question: Odds on Shero/Bylsma peddling the Brooklyn Bridge during the presser.

By the way, some of us will be unable to watch this train wreck. On behalf of all of us, I'd like to say that I'd appreciate a running update free of the Pittsburgh PC media twitter take.

I think point is, if it's a table (which is never used in there), more than one person will be seated. This was supposed to be just Shero.
Dan Bylsma will join him along with Mario Lemieux to announce the new contract extension for head coach Dan Bylsma.

Just a thought . . . why are we assuming that it's Bylsma who will join Shero at the table? It likely will be. But, it wouldn't 100% surprise me to see Mario pop out also, whether Bylsma is there too or canned, as part of the 'we're disgusted, we're turning this around, etc' commitment from ownership. Funny thing is, Bylsma's presence, rather than whatever he says, would tell me whether to believe him.

I think I might puke.

Maybe they'll bring in Tippett to the table?!

Agreed. But he must fix the D or else...

Also...

1. Geno is signed for $10M per year, 8 years...
2. MAF stays unless we can find a trading partner. I doubt Pens take a buyout hit to the salary cap.
3. Letang stays at reasonable cap hit or is traded at the 2013 NHL Draft.
4. We lose two of Dupuis, Cooke and Adams.

I agree. I doubt any changes are being made right away. I think this is just a recap of the season.

It's not funny but...

(I wish the idiot who made this knew how to spell "feelin'" but you get the idea.)

Too early to have interviewed and hired another coach most likely so... either it's Mario or...

Or you guys will have to attempt to remain calm this morning and not turn this place upside down cuz I am suppose to be working.

And your confidence that Bylsma will do that for next year's playoffs is . . .
