just watched Agents Of Shield. Haven't seen the movies (not a comic guy), I thought it was ok. Must say that Ming-Na Wen looks damned good at 49
Damn she's that old? Thought she was late 30's or early 50s. I thought it was decent. Was very solid (and mayble a bit safe) pilot. I tend to give pilot's some leeway and most time more interested in the 2nd and 3rd episodes before evaluating a new series. The intro sort of reminded me of Heroes in some way or maybe it was just a vibe through out the episode. Ratings look like they crushed. Considering the rise of the marvel superhero movies. Wondering when an actual marvel super hero will make it to the small screen with their own series.
Randomly checked out the Blacklist on Monday with James Spader. Found myself moderately entertained.
I could take 7 down to Arlington but those closer to FC / Tysons are preferred
Velocity 5 is either in Arlington (Court House) or on the western edge of Falls Church (Dunn Loring). Glory Days afaik is just past the western edge of Falls Church (Vienna) (that's where one is; don't know offhand if there are any closer). Front Page is in Arlington (Ballston). Hard Times is a few places but not sure where except for the Fairfax City one. Don't know the other places.
Rookie hockey fan here!
Fell in love with hockey during the last Stanly Cup Playoffs and it quickly replaced soccer as my first sport.
After the playoffs I decided to pick a team and the dice was in Caps favour( googled Ovechkin, that was enough ).
Been reading about recent Caps history and it is similar as my fav KHL team CSKA, no luck in the playoffs. Really hoping that we'll start to win that playoff series( and avoid NYR ).
New division for a new star for me, wish me luck!
BTW. I'm green in this World of Hockey so be merciful!
The place nearby has a restaurant called Haandi Indian which has rave reviews. Would like to know about other Asian restaurants in the area
You can't beat the Vietnamese food in Falls Church. Take a trip to Eden Center some night. It's like stepping onto another continent. Rice Paper, Huong Viet, and Little Saigon are my favorites in there. (Though I guess technically Little Saigon isn't in Eden Center)
Duangrat's is fantastic for Thai. Han Sung Oak for Korean. Haandi (in addition to Raaga as noted by usiel) is definitely legit for Indian.
