Outside of probably Dupuis, Cooke, and Adams three guys who care, it will be the same dead, slow team as it was this past playoffs. No doubt Flower will be the teams goaltender. Vokoun should ask to be traded.

I really don't want Iginla back. IMO he lost alot this past year and is a roster watse.

The parallels with and influence of David Poile on Ray Shero are really, really ugly.

Dan has increasing confidence in his being the coach of the Penguins.

I guess the answer of "more line shuffling" probably wouldn't have earned him any points. I'm not sure that he has any idea of how to get better and moving players up and down and in and out of the lineup is the only way he knows. Probably best that he be vague than admit that he doesn't know at this point.

What really makes you worry is that the belief has been that Therrien's influence still played a huge part of the 2009 Cup win and now you have to worry that former GM Craig Patrick set up the building blocks for that Stanley Cup win and Shero's influence was even less than many thought, including myself.

so we can look forward to Kunitz being traded for a premier winger prospect?

could you imagine the size of the Ray Shero statue if he traded Kunitz for Forsberg? (and the naughty things done to that statue)

MAF is now a much more "controlled" goaltender. Yah, those wild flops and dives last year and this year... the definition of control.

He's still refining his goaltending style.

They just lie about Fleury. This new goalie coach is going to make things worse, I'm calling it now.

Can you imagine if Dan Bylsma had someone like Filip Forsberg? He'd get less of a look than Janne Pesonen.

He won't stand for this! (Even though he's always said he loves it here, loves his teammates, letc...)

He shows it on the ice!!! (Is this some sort of excuse for when he plays poorly? Malkin never has a bad shift, unless the weight of the organization holds him down?)

He might stay, but he doesn't really want to! (as he signs an 8-year extension)

Evgeni Malkin has become Bill Brasky to some of you. He's a larger-than-life figure that has the most magnanimous spirit and is the greatest player to ever step on the ice and when something doesn't go right for him it's someone/something else's fault.

I dunno, I just think he's human, and i'm going to view him as such
Yes, I'll admit that I was projecting my hopes there, because, as has been proven, only his having an ounce of Lundqvist in him was our only hope.

Aside from the fact that BOTH of them parroting Bylsma's bull**** is a problem.

geno and sid can both screw this franchise if they want to. they are getting paid huge money and probably feel obligated to be cheerleaders for the organization. im sure they would like to win cups, but at the end of the day, they are probably happy with the money and the nice work environment they have here. i hope im wrong, of course.

Just so it's clear, because I know I come off as anti-Malkin: I'm not.

Like you would say, BOTH Crosby and Malkin are guilty of the same thing in this situation. They are both the best player in the league and BOTH are comfortable in their current situation.

But part of that isn't their fault. There is a natural arrogance that comes with being an athlete. They KNOW they are the 2-best players in the world. They are taught, from like age 4, that the coach is right, don't question the coach, go out and play.

So when they fail, they believe it's on them, because they know that if they play to the best of their abilities, they are above everyone else on the ice.

Now YOU are going off the deep end. Understandable under the circumstances.
