If Crawford continues his elite play from this season next year, he will get very serious consideration for Team Canada. Other than that I agree with the majority - Toews, Keith, and Bergeron are essentially locks, and Seabrook is a maybe.
I don't think Seabrook makes in next year. Canada has Weber, Doughty, Pietrangelo, Letang and Subban all on the right side and all likely ahead of him on the depth chart. Maybe he makes it due to experience, but if Keith, Weber and Doughty are all coming back I'd rather take the better players than the experienced ones
Toews- Shutdown, 3rd line centre. Hopefully with Nash and whatever solid two way player is hot going into the Olympics
Bergeron- ideal 4th line centre for team Canada. Hopeully on a line with someone like Jamie Benn/Logan Couture
Keith- Top 4 defender
Crawford- Weak Cdn goaltending this time around, so I think he will make it in a backup role.
Outside shot to Seguin and Lucic but I wouldn't bet on either being there
I don't think Seabrook will make it, but wouldn't be suprised if he does because of his chemistry with Keith.
- Bergeron, Keith, Seabrook, Toews for sure.
- I wouldn't consider Seguin or Sharp as guaranteed. There is just so much competition up front.
- Hard to give a definitive answer in regards to Crawford. There is a lot of uncertainty surrounding Canada's goaltending.
