I like and still have the 25th anniversary jersey. Regular logo with a little bit of that turquoise waves. Something off of that would be cool.

Whenever I hear Isles and jersey I tend to hide under the covers and never want to come out.

I await garth frankenstiens latest creation, born of many bong hits and slamming ones head into a wall repeatedly.

I am nervous but excited. Almost every team to participate in the outdoor games have had some cool uniforms

The Islanders should keep it simple. Like some said the vintage cream color with the orange and blue everything else like normal.

Maybe have one shoulder with the four stripes patch the other with a lighthouse patch.

I think an Orange jersey would look nice outside in the winter and even better if it snows. the only things i do not want to see are "Islanders" lettered across the front instead of a logo, Black in any capacity on the jersey and Front numbers.

I don't know if anyone did a photoshop yet but why don't they make a third jersey with the current logo on a black jersey with the logo in white with the Brooklyn bridge on the shoulders

people do realize the waves and turquoise were what killed the fisherman jerseys, right? the logo itself isn't that bad

Just make it the blue jersey with orange letters/numbers. Or do the orange jersey from the early 00's, I'd like to see a RBK Edge version of those.

Old School Isles with traditional colors, NO NAMES on the back.

Just the classic white border orange numbers.

(not Trottier's}

you can't go wrong with that. but im sure the powers that be feel that it will be too close to what they currently wear and wont generate enough $$$$

and as for those who want the Fisherman back??? you must not have been around at the time but those uniforms and everything about them were a disgrace!
really? the logo wasnt bad?
its freaking HORRIBLE! literally taken from a box of fishsticks and cartooned up. ive seen Roller hockey teams with better logos!

the colors, the wave, the "Angry" Mariner, just horrendous!
looks like the captain from the opening credits of Sponge Bob!

I like it, but I'm not sure the NHL would be down for having nameless jerseys for a nationally televised game.

What would our classic jersey look like if the blue and Orange switched roles (Orange dominant / Blue secondary)?

Didn't the Flyers do it?

I think it's going to be something Brooklyn related would be ideal time to promote a possible third jersey of some sort.

it would look like a very good third.....I think somewhere there is a pic of our jerseys with mock modes of our current white and blue and a third orange with the same design... Was actually nice imo

But for a classic I don't see the Isles going orange...

I never liked orange as a primary color.

The only images of those jerseys that I've come across have name patches on the back.

I'm getting the same gut feeling. Although I don't think the NHL would approve it.

Would you buy the jersey if it was just blue with orange letters/numbers? I ask this assuming you already have a blue jersey.

Creating an outdoor game jersey for the isles is so hard because you look at their current jersey & it's already a throwback. So what are they to do really? Hopefully whatever they come up with doesn't suck.
