Ellis will not bust. He is far too good but he could become a career bottom pairing PP specialist.

shouldve clarified a more offensive version, but if you watched boychuk tonight thats what I mean in a nutshell. He threw nice hipchecks, and scored a sick GTG. Pretty much what I see glimpses from Ellis doing already. Ellis is physical though, small, but physical.

I like this move simply because we added another d-man who may or may not be a full time NHLer by giving up a forward we picked up on waivers. While Butler played well at times I'm not really upset we moved him at all. We have a log jam of bottom 6 forwards and there was just no room for him.
