Draft Day Competition

Alright everybody,

Here's what it is. You name a trade the Ducks will make. Not one you'd like to see, etc, but one you actually believe will happen.

If you get it, I'll give you all my vCash (not much, this is mostly just for fun).

I thought it'd be a cool way to see what everyone expects Bob to do.

Go!

Nice but I meant more along the lines of trades on Draft Day, not draft picks.

Ooops, was a bit too fast there. In that case I actually have no idea. I have a feeling Devante Smith-Pelly might get traded for something.

Gagne is an unrestricted free agent. And I don't think we'll move Ryan in a trade that brings back players that have a total of 5 NHL games.

I think is the year the BB goes out and finally makes a big trade or signing. This team is not that far away from winning. I think he makes a deal that sends Ryan somewhere.

I don't see us having any interest in Laughton. He's talented, but nothing that we don't already have.

No roster players are traded. I think we'll trade some 2014 picks for some 2013 picks. Later picks, nothing in the first 2 rounds.

Wait a minute. In a supposed deep draft you want to give away our 3rd to move up two spots?

Me thinks you're spoofing this thread.

I'm predicting Ryan is dealt to the Flyers, and that it'll be for a package that pisses Flyers fans off quite nicely.

That is terrible. Why don't we just trade Fowler for the 11th and Kent Huskins.

I'd expect more than a 2nd for Hiller to be honest. I'd be hoping for a late first this year, maybe early 2nd + 3rd. Could also trade him for a conditional '14 2nd rounder that becomes a 1st if he signs with his new team.

I realize there are other options available right now but that doesn't mean you give a quality starting goaltender away at a bargain bin price.

I'd like more too. I just think BM is going to trade him and would be willing to take a 2nd in this draft versus go into the summer trying to make a deal. Of course I could be wrong.
