well at least you didn't say subban and Galchenyuk for Yakupov like those trade proposals from a year ago. So props for that. Out of those trades I think I might do the Dallas one, the Oilers get a big number 1A/B centre and two top ten picks (possibly) will do wonders for the Stars organization and add Gagner as well who is a great number 3 (or temporary number 2), and its a pretty good deal. Of course, the Stars are taking a risk though, if they do this trade they better hope that one of the draft picks end up better than Benn.
Swap Gagner with Yakupov and you're closer to getting Dallas to agree.
Lol you can't be serious. Benn is not worth anywhere near that. Gagner+7th overall+2014 1st is fair value, but I can see why Stars fans wouldn't do that. But there's no way Benn returns a 1st overall, a top 10 pick in a deep draft, and another 1st.
I agree that some of these are tilted towards Edmonton, but the reactions are ridiculous. Benn is not worth much more (if any more) than Yakupov. Subban isn't worth two Yakupovs.
Whether Subban is worth 2 Yakupovs is irrelevant. Personally, if you had 2 of him, I still wouldn't give you Subban for him.
But irregardless, the Habs are not going to dismantle their team just to build up the Oilers. This proposal doesn't do anything for Montreal. Replace the best defenseman in the league this past season with nothing. And by that I mean no defenseman. And no replacing your unwanted Belanger for another unwanted player who may play as your 5/6 defenseman is no better. You can add J Schultz and the Habs still say no.
All of those trades are awful. The Oilers NEED Klefbom to pan out. Trading him for a forward would be a terrible idea.
Gagner doesn't have much value; if he did, he wouldn't be in every single Oilers proposal since 2004. He's, at best, average offensively and has no other facets to his game. Not physical, dreadful defensively.
And Subban just won the ****ing Norris. I like Yakupov, but he's all potential at this point. Subban is results.
