He should but coach must love him. Played him as if he was a star.

If Belleville can find an upgrade on the back end, overage D Adam Bignell would likely be the odd man out.

I also can't see Bignell being back, not really the type of OA the bulls will need next season. Look for George to quickly address the situation very early

It's not easy picking up quality over-agers so I would expect Bignell will start the season with the Bulls. He's the only one they have at the moment so no rush.

I think he starts the year in Erie, with Genovese and Donnay.
I get what u are saying, and while pts aren't everything he did have 5 pts in the playoffs, toss in the fact the other 94 born guys won't be back ala, Brown,McDermid,Pelech,Dansk and Gaunce.

The IceDogs have just three OA candidates for next year:
Blake Richard - probably released after camp
Luke Mercer - probably traded early in the year to keep developing the younger guys
Billy Jenkins - 50/50 will need to produce early to keep his job here. Not many roster spots open and a few young guys could squeeze him out.

I agree about goalie Blake Richard,as for Mercer and Jenkins I can see them staying,as the Dogs move into their new building and lineup to be 1 of the top 3 or 4 teams in the East this coming season
A nice team on the rise

Sudbury has a truck load:

Matt Campagna - undrafted
Nathan Pancel - undrafted
Jeff Corbett - undrafted
Ray Hueter - undrafted
Nathan Cull - undrafted
Brody Silk - undrafted

Connor Crisp - signed and AHL bound
Radek Faksa - signed and AHL bound
Trevor Carrick - signed, but not sure if he is AHL bound

If the three signed players move to AHL next seasdon then believe Corbett, Pancel and Silk will stay. If Carrick unsigned and available, think they will keep him and move Corbett.

Campagna / Hueter / Cull moved/released for sure.

Campagna, Pancel and perhaps Corbett would be of interest to Belleville.

For the Hounds... Jorgen Karterud, could probably produce 40-50 points if he stayed healthy for an entire year and was given top 6 minutes and PP duty. Was stuck behind a lot of depth of the Hounds this year, and wont be back since he is an OA's and Import... Also Dylan Corson, highly doubt he starts the year with the Hounds. Good PK'er, 3rd liner grinder but with Moore, Gudbranson and Dupuy ahead of him, no reason to start with 4 OA's.

While Guelph has a lot of eligible 94's who could return next season the only ones realistically coming back are Pierog, Auger and Leslie so unless the Storm get a huge surprise and get a player back that probably shouldnt be back then there are no odd guys out here.

IMHOEbert is a candidate to return. He was the very last pick in the NHL draft and to my knowledge has not been signed yet. If he does return Spits get another 2nd rnd pick from Storm.

He hasn't been signed yet, but he can also re-enter the draft if not signed by the June deadline. If it gets to that point I could see a team drafting/signing him to have him play in the AHL next season.

Spitfire O/A players

The Spitfires have a number of players eligible to be O/A players this year.
1) Koekkoek signed will turn pro.
2) Brady Vail drafted but not signed.
3) Ben Johnson drafted but not signed.
4) Ty Bilcke undrafted
5) Dalen Kuchmey undrafted

If Vail doesn't turn pro my guess is he'll be back with the Spits. If Johnson doesn't turn pro my guess is he'll be back in the OHL on another team. Bilcke will be traded or waived. Kuchmey has burned his bridges here but could get traded or waived.
