NHL 2000 is still amazing. I play with my cousin all the time whenever we get together. He's got it in his apartment at his campus right now. He had it at his place, but his roomies *****ed, and he was nice enough to give them the game back. We play the hell out of that game on PS1.

The first NHL game I remember owning was NHL 2004. I was the Hawks for seasons and drafted and developed my own teams. I made some 16-year-old free-agent signing from the FA pool I signed the MVP of the league. It was hysterical. The name escapes me.

In 04 they gave a very sick cancer teen a 94 overall rating as part of the make a wish program I believe.

Funny story about NHL 2000 or 99. Whichever year had the expansion draft. I took Columbus and my younger brother took the Wild. Immediately after the expansion draft he created a free agent goalie when I went upstairs to pee and signed him unbeknownst to me.

Ivanna Tinkle, the 97ov rookie phenom won the Vezina and backstopped the Wild to the WCF. Shayne Corsen was his leading scorer.

My 1st hockey game was NHL Faceoff 99. Back when before Mike Emrick was 'Doc' and his partner was Darren Pang.

They did the same thing in 2011. I found out the hard way when me and a buddy were making custom teams and he discovered a 95 rated undrafted goalie with a league minimum contract

Yeah, my girlfriend saw one on pintrest to Costa Rica, 8 days, air included, only 800 bucks! I didn't look at it myself but I have to think she read it wrong and that was per person because that is insane. Unfortunately, I don't have the vacation time to do that, not to mention my ****ing hot water heater and fridge just went out, well, the water heater is shot, I've fixed it before and it just can't go any longer. The fridge is slowly dying, giving me at least enough time to eat the food in it. I think it just needs a freon boost, but the thing is 23 years old and was a hand me down, time to upgrade anyway. Thankfully I have a lead on one taken out of a foreclosed home sitting in someones garage right now, got to call that guy today.

That's per person I'm sure. I only get 10 vacation/sick days a year, so this is basically all of them. I'm taking 7 off. I had one sick day earlier in the year, and took the day after the 4th if July off. My 10th day will be the day after Thanksgiving.

Yeah, that's definitely not a vacation even in the most lenient sense of the term.

No, not at all. Get in car, arrive, tailgate, see soccer game, bars, sleep, back in car.

You pretty much can't go wrong with most of the resorts there. Can't wait to get back there. Whenever the day does come, our wedding will be down there.

Anyone who wanted a Stanley Cup Champions hat and couldn't find one, most Dicks Sporting Goods and NHL.com has them back in stock

Well, played poker again last night on a work night and made another $410. I'm dragging today though.

I guess if the Packers moved to the AFC I'd start cheering for them, too.
