After the last couple days at prospect camp, I ate at Palace Grill and Gene and Jude's, respectively. It was awesome.

Gene and Judes is awesome. Not too far from where I grew up. Good pool hall right across the street too.

looking to expand...

what's your favourite iphone, etc. app?

for the people in Ontario...the LCBO one is fantastic....it gives you the closest LCBOs to wherever you are including their hours of operation

Got pulled into another poker game last night and made another $245.

When are we starting our FF league again?

I already have it set on my calendar. I'll probably send out the invites around August 1

Bought Civilization V: Gold Edition off Steam for a mere $13 before I headed off to work.

Incredibly looking forward to finally playing that game over the weekend.

I still play Civ on the 360 a lot. Its easier to play when you have kids because you can run an entire playthrough in 6-8 hours instead of 3 weeks.

I'm trying to go through and beat it on Deity with every Civ in all 4 ways possible. Pretty sure I've beat it at least twice with every Civ and in all 4 ways with several. I think Americans are the best Civ, Japanese probably 2nd, then maybe Mongols or Zulus

Square Roots Festival was amazing. Great beer, great food, great music, and great people. I love Chicago during the summer.

I can't believe she kept going after "Captain Sum Ting Wong". Ridiculous.

Also can't believe Zimmerman was found not guilty.

I don't know why you can't. It was one of the more obvious decisions in a high profile case as of late.

I can see why they couldn't get him for 2nd degree murder, but I don't see how they couldn't get him on manslaughter.

All George Zimmerman had to do was stay in his car, as he was instructed to do by the Police. He wanted to take the law into his own hands, and as a result, shot and killed a young man.

Not surprised he was found not guilty, the prosecution had a huge mountain to climb. I think the guy is a piece of crap

I didn't know who he was until I looked into it.

31 years old. Wow. Way too soon. Since he was found dead in a hotel room, a drug overdose is one of a few possibilities.

Wow, I just heard. That's awful. Died way too young. It's a damn shame... heart goes out to his friends and family.

Also I hope you're okay TK, that's pretty saddening news, to say the least.
