Hunter Shinkaruk in the future.

In his prime what stats do you see him putting up? Also, what current professional do you see him play similar too?

The biggest comparison I've seen is Parise, but after watching this video (below) I don't really see it at all. Parise is more of a playmaker and Shinkaruk is a pure goal-scoring sniper.

EDIT: YouTube wasn't working for me, or I wasn't doing it right, so I put the url here ^^

Loves going to the net, good shot, loves putting the puck on net, great playmaker as well, and very gifted with offensive IQ. However, the biggest knock on his game is his defensive play, which is mediocre at best.

I hate putting comparables on players, so I won't.

I see him scoring 30 goals a season, but not much more. 80 points as an absolute maximum ceiling in my books.

If he can get bigger, I don't see why 40G, 80P couldn't be atainable. He's got a hell of a shot and some slick offensive skills.

He's always reminded me of a slightly larger Tyler Ennis. Ennis was more of a shooter in juniors than he is now. It could be that both are goofy looking kids that have played for the Tigers though.

I recently ranked Shinkaruk 7th overall in the final top 210 rankings.

Here's his The Next Ones in-depth profile to tell you what I think of him.

I've always thought he reminded me of Phil Kessel...but then someone here who'd seen a lot of him (i think Renegade Stylings) said that was wrong.

Shinkaruk does not like having the puck on his stick for as long as Kane does, therefore his passing and shooting abilities are likely more developed, and his hands and dangling skills are less.

Not a terrible comparison though.

I think he has 75-80 point a season potential.
