CBC or NBC?

Now that the past few games have also been broadcast on NBC - which one are you watching? I prefer Doc Emrick on NBC - seems to really enjoy calling a game.

I find Doc Emrick's voice irritating. I like NBC's broadcast though.

Only choice NBC. I have learned to tune out Emrick. He jumbles players names on every shift.

I like both. I happen to have it on CBC now, though.

Dream combo : CBC intros, with TSN broadcast and intermissions

It depends. If you like to hear verbal blowjobbing of the Bruins, listen to CBC. If you want to hear a more excitable play-by-play man, and slightly more annoying behind the bench guy, listen to NBC. I do like the NBC broadcast, and they really make it a 3 man team, but they also try to cater to the more casual fan, so they explain things in a little more detail. I like the CBC production, but man, I find all they talk about is the Bruins. And of course the constant reference to BostonStrong.

cbc as become so bad, it's got the production of a community broadcasting, the age of a retirement club and the intelligence of a mental asylum.

nbc.

I've always been a big fan of Hughson. So CBC is the obvious choice. Unfortunately. PJ Stock is insufferable. I vastly prefer TSN to both though.

I prefer Jim Hughson to Emrick, Ron Mclean to the NBC guy. However I consider Pierre Mcguire one of the best colour men in the game. Craig simpson is to bland. Healy is growing on me as a colour man.

I really don't like the PJ Stock/kevin weekes/kelly hrudey panel. There has to be someone more 'mcguire-esque' out there they can hire. They're brutal. I like Elliott Friedman though, I'd like to see him get an expanded role.

I find the colours to be brighter on CBC over NBC and the feed seems more fluid. Maybe just me.

CBC is so brutal these last few years that even people I dind't hate have crept onto the list. Only people I kinda like are weekes and scott oak. The rest can GTFO. Chris cuthbert should be calling the finals, not Jim "I love the sound of my own voice more than the game I am talking about" Hughson. Such an irritating delivery and non sensical sayings.

NBC, I will only watch CBC as a last resort. It is vomit inducing, as is Doc's voice.

I've been out of the country for the finals so I've been watching on gamecenter, thus had the choice.

Went with NBC. Not that Emerick and McGuire aren't annoying as hell sometimes, but they are MUCHHHHH better than Healy and although I like Hughson, Simpson and the other idiots are too much. Then of course there's the fact that CBC was pro-bruins, NBC was tilting slightly towards the Hawks since NESN has the bruins.

Emerick needs to stop saying "finessed the puck" every other shift.

CBC.

They cut out the commercials and intermissions from the CBC feed on Gamecentre Live, given the choice between listening to Mike Milbury, commercials for beer, fast food and pickup trucks vs. the sound of nothing, I'll take the sound of nothing every day of the week.

Stuck with CBC, but I hit the mute button, and often.

Anyone tell me WHY the CBC was pulling for, and hyping Boston???

I think the post-season low came in the third (?) period last night, when Chara tried to engrave the crossbar with Toews' head.

Chara swung his arms up, immediately.

Hughson: "No call..."

"Good NON-call," said another.

Are you kidding me?? That was a good non-call??? How so???

Just one example from a slew of daffy CBC in-game commentary in these playoffs. Total, pro-Bruin crap.
