Is this where OCP comes in and buys the police department?

I saw a special on tv about a similar situation in or around San Jose. A few years ago they couldn't attract enough police officers, so they made the incentives great and all that jazz and made the contracts guaranteed with all officers. The recession hit, and the city lost a lot of its income, but still has to pay it's officers all that money and benefits (including retirement). Now the city is in so much debt and most of it is because of the police department. Ah the world we live in.

That's an excellent idea. Privatization is very efficient. Maybe they could even come up with a way to have more police presence on the streets, but actually employ less officers...

This is pretty much one of the easiest and best reads I've ever had in regards to hockey and statistics.

It's all in layman terms and has links to articles if you want more complex.

Super simple, super easy, super logical.

Are they putting the Red Wings on waivers to try and get some cap space? We could nap a few good players if we picked the team up.

So funny story...

My old lady and I went away on a romantic getaway for the first time in a few years. My mother in law watched the kids, and away we went to a fancy resort for few days. We had won the trip of four nights and a fishing charter...and it should be noted that this particular place has been known to house celebrities.

So as you can imagine, while we are away, without rugrats, my wife and I begin to partake in some adult only activities...and since there is no children we can be as loud as we want at any time of day.

Well, eventually, the people right next door to us call down to the front desk to complain. They call us, and we agree to be quieter. Later that day, the wife and I made our way over to next door to apologize for our indisgressions...who should answer the door? But one Jennifer Beals from Flashdance.

My loud obnoxious sex pissed off a sorta famous person!

Anyways, she was pretty cool about the whole thing. surprisingly though, she didnt want to hang out with us. She and her family Left today.

I wonder why...

Yea, that pretty much sums it up. I've put on a good amount of lean muscle mass only with bodyweight training. To me, it's all about the intervall-training and - of course - a good nutrition. You won't come far, if you just do basic push-ups, squats, burpees or stuff like that, especially without different intervall methods. But as you said, it really depends on your goal. If you want to be the next Schwarzenegger (extreme example), you should hit the iron, but for an athletic body with an solid amount of muscle mass, bodyweight training will be just fine. The best set-up is probably to mix things up, but yeah, it's not really necessary for the average person, at least in my opinion.

Just a few of my training exercises:

Push
- Different Grip Push-Ups (Close Grip, Wide Grip, One-Arm and so on, most of the time with feet elevated)
- Basketball Push-Ups (feet elevated)
- Bouncing Push-Ups (feet elevated)
- Handstand-Push-Ups
- Planche Push-Ups (is by far the toughest)

Pull
- A whole lot of Pull-Up-Variations (Close Grip, Wide Grip, Triangle, Muscle Ups + weight west)
- Chin-Ups
- Curl-Ups
- Let Me Ins (you need a strong door )
- Let Me Ups

Legs
- Lunges with weight
- Normal Squats
- Sumo Squat with weight
- Dynamic Squats
- Pistol Squats (nasty little ********, especially for the first couple of times)
- Wall Squats (One Leg elevated)
- Box Jumps
- Calf Raises

Core
- Air-Plunges
- Flags
- Hanging Leg Lifts (on the pull-up-bar)
- Hyperextensions
-Jack Knives

And a lot more. For the record, these are - mostly - not beginner exercises. It's advanced stuff.

I'm a Blues fan so this is going to be tough. It'll probably end up being like my love of the Lightning. I will love them unless they're in the Jets way.
