Yeah I heard it was the actual parkade that had the ridiculous wait times to get out as opposed to the whole area this time around. It sucks but people are just going to have to figure out ways better than parking close to the stadium.
The on field product is what concerns me this year lol
My mom has a parking pass for the hospital right beside the stadium, took half hour to get there and half hour to get home from St. James, 10 minute walk from the hospital to stadium.
I know the drive from the stadium to the SE part of the city is a 40 min drive on the perimeter.
Add the additional parking lot times and I think they will have trouble getting decent attendance from that part of the city in the future.
May also be a few locations of a place called Barley Brothers opening up in the fall, possibly at the closed Kelsey's locations. Those are all pretty suburban as far as I know but more brew pubs can't be a bad thing.
Looks like I will be recreating last night's Stanley Cup Final game. We're playing for the championship tonight and it's about 40 with the humidex (104 for our American friends).
Funniest part? Playing it at the Jonathan Toews Community Centre
I walked to the gym this morning (~25 mins), then walked to my aunts to mow her lawn for about an hour, finally then returning home by foot around 1. I was soaking with sweat and my shirt was practically glued on.
