Bogo > Yandle. Need to draft a centre though. First trade is pretty decent though. I feel Yandle is a bit overrated but he's a lot better than what we have.

The only thing Tracy is right about is the volume of deals

Why would Phoenix trade Yandle for Hemsky??? They lose that trade bigtime. I'd do that deal in a millisecond. Terrible value for Phoenix.

As far as injuries, the biggest ones were both his shoulders, both of which have been operated on and held up all last year with no issues, so he's in the clear for now. He was unlucky to get hit in the foot by a puck and was hurt late in the year but that's minor.

He should bounce back offensively with Ottawa if a trade does happen. He just needs top 6 and pp time, and unfortunately we have too many right wingers better than him.
He usually gets hurt because he never learned to utilize his teammate, and routinely gets caught in possession trying to deke everyone on the ice multiple times. He used to have some guts when he'd get back up after predictably getting nailed by the opposing team, but part of the reason he's become so ineffective the last two years is that the bravery(or stupidity) has evaporated after his string of injuries.

Corner work, front of the net presence, physicality, abrasiveness, pugnacious, power moves to the net, all things that differentiate the tough to play against players from the soft players of the NHL - have never existed in Hemsky's game.

This is the trade rumour/speculation proposal thread. Even though they're likely bupkis, they still qualify as proposals and ideas to debate.

And I called her (him?) out for the idea that Chicago or Boston would be interested in Hemsky. He doesn't even replace Jagr's production on the Bruins.

He had a two month period where he was doing a lot of those things effectively (like a lot of Oilers) seven years ago.

Likely bupkis? Are you kidding? If you think there is a remote possibility that that account knows anything I give people on this board too much credit.

How you think posts from that account are worth debate is beyond me.

Calm down, sunshine.

She (he) got a few things right on trade deadline day a couple of years ago and has been riding this "Garfield" wave ever since. I find it odd and a little fascinating.

He was effective in the powerplay bonanza year of 06 when everyone in the NHL was still adjusting to the new rules, the Oilers had 141 PP opportunities in 06, no team has broken the 106 mark in any playoff year following that mark. He had a ***** ton of open ice to skate around unimpeded during that run.

He wasn't(and didn't need to be) a gritty winger during the Oilers final run.

Funny that you are making us all dumber for having read these and you take a shot at me.

Buddy in his moms basement never predicted anything 2 years ago. They were posts of what media had reported.

To each his own. You're free to believe what you want. Not sure how you do on this one though.

That's a shot at you? Alright.

And where did I say that I believed any of it? They're proposals to debate. This is a rumour thread. They're rumours and all of those players mentioned in her (his?) posts have been debated in trade rumours before. None of us has any idea what's going to happen except for (presumably) BlueChip.

He certainly had space offensively but I remember him laying out to block shots and paying the price as well. We haven't seen that from him since.
