Seguin is another C/RW right?

Yeah let's do that because we don't have enough centers and right wings.

Sutter's gonna innovate the game with the "flood right" offense.

Hmmm....would Boston trade Marchand? They are pretty close to the cap with quite a few guys, including Rask, they need to resign. Marchands cap hit is 4.5M. That kid can straight up play. Seems like someone Lombardi would go after. Can't really see Boston dealing him though...

Instead of four equal lines, we'll roll six lines consisting of centers and right wingers. We'll then play three defensemen. So essentially if we re-sign Scuds, that's our left winger we've wanted forever.

I think we're onto something. Get Dean on the phone and get the champagne on ice, the Cup is ours.

Plus, you could rotate your strategy depending on the time of game:

C-RW
D-D (striker) -D

OR

C-RW-RRW
D-D

for the full flood-right effect.

Seriously, if this team lands another C/RWer, that means one is outgoing. I really hope this Williams rumors are all absolute trash, because it's starting to look like there's smoke.

The team would really be getting a center in Tyler Seguin since there's been some grumbling from him or his camp about how much difficulty he is having in playing as a winger at the NHL-level.

Personally, I think we'd be better off in keeping who we have and just going for a free agent like Michael Ryder if he's willing to sign at a decent price with the Kings.

That is similar to the idea of us trading Williams. You don't move a guy like that, signed for a contract like that, unless there's a gun to your head.

‘Pissed beyond belief’: Ribeiro’s wife unhappy as husband gets set to enter free agency

Quote:
The Washington Capitals are reportedly letting Mike Ribeiro hit the free agent waters, and his wife was not pleased with this development.

Going by the name Tamara W Rebeiro and Twitter handle @Angeltw3, Rebeiro’s wife took to the social media website to voice her displeasure by the fact her husband will become an unrestricted free agent on July 5.

His wife used the hashtag #pissedbeyondbelief in the tweet, although it was unclear as to what exactly that meant.
I mean.............

Does it get any better than this? It doesn't, does it?

Life is so wonderful when it contains Twitter. It really is. You can't buy this kind of entertainment, you really can't.

This woman is getting absolutely skewered and roasted today. July 2, a day that will life in infamy for one Mrs. Ribeiro.

Welcome to being a hockey wife. Mot many players stay with one team for their entire career anymore.

Sucks, wonder why they would go. He was like one of their best forwards.

Seems like the perfect partner and ambassador for Mike Ribeiro, tbh.

Sharks bid adieu to the diving weasel Galiardi:

@PollakOnSharks: A thought: Liked working with Galiardi and welcomed his candor, but maybe #SJSharks didn't appreciate his verbal shots at Quick in playoffs.

Huh? That would be weird. They got rid of Clowe, so who knows.

That's weird. But I doubt it had anything to do with how he was with the kings.

Hmm. I don't want Seguin because the price would be rediculous. Would it cost Voynov + Toffoli?

Kings don't need Seguin. He's not a LW. Kings already have plenty of options at C and RW to the point that they have to shift some of them to LW.

And Seguin isn't going to be brought in as a 3rd line upgrade either. Then when you consider his cap hit, this supposed rumor makes less sense. Consider this to be a load of Eklund crap.

With reading literally zero of the material, I'm going to place bets on her being mad that her alpha male is not cashing is with Washington pronto and now they're subject to another move across North America. The resulting backlash is likely made up of people who don't like Ribeiro and/or people who don't like complaining millionaires.

Many forget they are humans as well with families. And in Riebeiro's case he has 3 kids. She might not like the thought of uprooting them again. But that is part of the business he chose to be in.

It's one thing to "not like" something that happens that is outside of your control. I get that. Most people get it. It has happened to most of us, actually.

But most people keep our unhappiness inside, or to a select few confidantes. We don't whine to the world about it.

And most certainly, if we are filthy rich we don't whine to the world about it. Because if you do...well, now you know...the rest of the story.

Actually now many people whine about things out in public. The difference is since they are not famous or related to someone famous it goes on without attention being drawn to it. But people have Twitter accounts, Facebook, Google+ and many other types of accounts. And they will put it all there for anyone that is subscribed or on their friends list to see. Or many other depending on how they have their privacy settings set. Or they will go to open boards such as this. Trust me it is not just the rich that do it. The rich just get attention drawn to it because of who or whom they are related to.

Teubert was unqualified by the Oilers.

Good thing we got Penner out of him because that was...a waste.
