If we have cap space, you can guarantee that Ryane Clowe or David Clarkson would be highly touted. Especially Clowe. Sutter loves him.

Huge trade in the works. Boston and Dallas close on a deal sending Tyler Seguin to Stars for Loui Eriksson. Other parts involved as well.

Trade is bigger than Seguin for Eriksson. Draft picks to Boston? Prospects? Working on details.

Believe Peverley may be in that Dallas/Boston deal as well.

@TSNBobMckenzie: Hearing DAL-BOS is a 5-player deal.

Wow. Seguin, Peverly, Eriksson.... Anyone else have names they can throw out?

Seguin's character has taken a beating the last few weeks. Sounds like the typical young party boy, not that I can blame him because I would have done the same thing.

Seguin is known to be a goon/con. He got kicked off one of his triple AAA teams. A scout told me that he used to go into his teammates locker rooms and steal their watches/jewellery/money, etc. Not surprised this is the 2nd time (technically) he gets traded.

I don't really care about the reputation. But Loui is a better player

I'm told there are 7 pieces to the Seguin-Eriksson trade. 3 prospects moving from Stars. 4 players total.

Right now Loui is, but I think Sequin will be the better player. Man I wish the kings could have picked up Eriksson .

I'm not sure. I don't know if Seguin ever gets to Loui's level right now and Eriksson will still get better.

How so? Eriksson is better than Seguin in every aspect of the game.

@TSNBobMcKenzie:
Joe Morrow is believed to be one of the pieces going from DAL to BOS. Also, perhaps Reilly Smith and Matt Fraser. Looking for confirmation.

Eriksson is a better player right now, Seguin will be a better player if he continues to develop.

And if he addresses the dedication/off ice issues. Giving-up the better player for one who could be better is he sorts out his issues doesn't sound very appealing to me

I think it depends. We gave up a valuable asset for a player with off ice issues (Carter) and look how that turned out.

Seguin has the ability and potential to be an 85-90 point player and he fits in with the current age range of the Stars core, so I think it makes a lot of sense for them.
