jets- sens

To Sens:

Evander Kane
Toby Enstrom

To Jets:

Mika Zibinejad
Jared Cowan

Sens speed up their re-tool with much needed offense....Jets get stud partner for Bogo and center depth...

Value is good for the Sens, but they don't do it. The Sen's aren't in win-now mode, so they don't want to get older.

Terrible deal for the Jets. If Zibanejad hits his potential, he still likely won't be as good a player as Kane already is. Cowen is rather redundant with Trouba in the system.

I'll still stand by the deal for two reasons:

1. Enstrom makes me cringe when he goes into the corners, I think his long term health is a real concern

2. would rather build up the middle with good centers than around a winger, a great as Kane is going to be. Zibinejad is also two years younger than Kane, he could be as good or better while playing a more important position.

All good players involved, but terrible value for the Jets.

That's debatable (and not a slight against E.Kane).

By default Ottawa turn it down because they have an internal cap and can't even afford to take on that much salary...

Phoenix: $40.275M cap
Ottawa: $43.5M

Kane currently is definitely the best player in the deal at the moment, but Cowen is going to be IMO the best player out of them in the future. Enstrom is a great puck mover and PPQB. Zibanejad has great potential, has all the tools just needs to put them together. Both sides think long and hard about this but Sens would probably need to add another prospect such as puempel and a 2nd.

Gotta be one of the worst proposals I've seen on here.

Enstrom's better than Cowen and Kane is a LOT better than Zibanejad. Terrible for the Jets

I would love to have Kane but Enstrom is injury prone i wont do it because its a high risk, high reward kind of deal

While the Jets players are currently better, losing Cowen`s size in the back end is crazy. How can you win with 2 guys that are 180 lbs soaking wet patrolling your blueline?

Come on, look long term. Don't just look at the now. Both Sens players could easily be better in the long run.

Yeah, who would want a 20 year old 30 goal scorer?

There are more things to consider than his production.

Like what? Him taking a picture with money in Vegas? Such a trouble maker.

How about him being a great penalty killer? One of the few guys with 100+ shots and hits? Producing with pure scrubs? Being only 21?

Oh right, he took photos with money in Vegas. Never mind, don't want him.

I don't give a rats patooty about the Vegas picture.

As someone that lived through the Yashin saga and the Heatley saga, I would prefer not to go down that path again.

And what does he possibly have in common with them?
