At the end of the article Kane said they figured it wouldn't and that they probably wouldn't be seeing any five goal games like that.

Maybe by Chicago announcing they are going for Z the refs will take notice.

B's need to get back to playing their game.

I want to see big Z lift that cup in front of us Monday.

I think you're reading too much into that. They felt they had to try to neutralize Chara if they could. Who wouldn't think that? It helped them. Now they need another game plan. They know it. Kane admitted it.

God, he's such a little weenie. He's a little brat cut in the mold of most of the rest of those whiny little Shattuck brats (thank God Parise was able to retain his nuts after his time at SSM and actually play with some humility) then of course goes onto NoDak where he was bound to continue to be treated like overrated royalty.

Captain Serious blah blah blah intangibles ********, with his whiny little sniveling in the box, as if how dare someone call a penalty on big number 19. I'd love to see Chara even start to take a run in his direction and see whittle Jonny piddle all over the ice in fear.

I hate that little ****er.

I think he might be waiting, hopefully he's around to see get the chance; I'd be more than happy to see him have to wait and actually legitimately get it in 2018.

Can you imagine if Bill Belichik was coaching the Bruins and saw this.....he'd have the guys arm amputated and brought in to fire up his team with no respect

Lol people will never understand why we always lose to the Habs... They use their speed.

If u poke the bear you're simply going to lose, that simple. Hawks have the speed to beat us, they should use it.

I don't think Saturday will be a bloodbath to much at stake, I think you see two teams pretty focused and very determined

Chicago may very well win this series- they are a very good team and I'd have no problem rooting for them against anyone but us- always liked those boys from way back; but they better get tomorrow because if they don't they will not get game 6.

I don't believe in the hockey gods or superstitions or jinxes but I can certainly see this going 7 games and overtime

I can tell you why Chicago can win- first line is very good, second line has two elite level wingers, fourth line is imo the best in hockey; their D is active, and the first pairing is top 5 easy; the goalie struggled last game but overall has been first rate; their coach is a good man and a very good coach

I can tell you why Boston will win- Rask imo is a better goalie who can steal any game, the defense when disciplined and playing simple is also top 5; the Krejci-Bergeron center duo is about as good as you can find in a big game; Julien and Houda can put together a solid game plan based on what they have seen- and finally, Boston plays very well when behind in series and games and as underdogs. If Boston can feel anything near there back they respond.

Also if it goes 7 and goes overtime, the team that loses no doubt will have probably hit the cross bar or post only minutes before the other team goes down and scores.

Just head games.

Would be too good to be true. Nothing would ignite the Bruins more.

Chicago isn't stupid.

From the Associated Press:

Quote:
The idea that a little contact can throw off Zdeno Chara left Milan Lucic shaking his head and wondering who exactly is drawing up the scouting reports for the Chicago Blackhawks.

Sure, they went right at Boston’s big, bad defenseman in Game 4. If they want to try that again, the Bruins had three words for them: bring it on.

“Honestly, I don’t know where they would get that scouting report from,” Lucic said on Friday. “He definitely doesn’t mind the physical play at all.”

The Blackhawks seem to believe they were on to something after they challenged Chara in Game 4 of the Stanley Cup finals and came away with a 6-5 overtime victory.

The Bruins, meanwhile, reacted with a collective shrug. Either way, the series is knotted at two games apiece as it shifts back to the United Center for Game 5 on Saturday.

“To be honest, we don’t care what they thought they’ve figured out because it’s about us right now and making sure we’re ready for Game 5,” Boston’s Patrice Bergeron said.

Glad that Saad and Toews think they've learned how to "expose" Chara, whatever that means. Hope they enjoy their piddly ass lucky win in OT in game 4. Boston has been better this series and that is with a horrid period in game 3 and a fairly brutal night defensively in game 4. Chicago can think they've solved the Boston D all they want, however this season has taught us that Boston's D can look pretty bad on certain nights. CJ will make adjustments and Boston's defensemen will be ready to set things right in game 5. Chicago is a very good team that I respect, but they are being silly in their gleeful talk about solving and exposing anyone. If I were the Hawks I would settle down and drink a big tall glass of "shut the hell up." Glad they aren't doing that, though. The Bs do nothing but smoke the hell out of people that piss them off.

Well, Chicago has already been getting away with some cheap stuff. Bickell sure look like he slewfooted Chara on either their second or third goal last game. Keep it coming, Hawks. Just don't cry like Crosby when the Bear bites back and you have to pick your Chicklets up off the ice.

Chicago is a really good team.

They can beat the Bruins.

They should talk less about it though and do it.
