Im really starting to hope that we can get Santini or Heatherington at #34 and Compher or De La Rose at #36.

All leaders, character and gritty guys. Sounds like TT picks.

Lazar could end up being a 3rd liner, but I do think he has some Patrice Bergeron-like qualities. Its more of a gamble to go up and get him than say for Horvat, for sure.

I thought Morrissey was more on the 5'11 side, but regardless, philosophically I do like bigger defensemen. I am not saying Morrissey is a bad player, I just don't like him at #25, and I severely doubt he falls to #34.

Obviously Zykov is the apple of my eye at #25 and I do believe he will be around when it is our time to pick.

Zykov or Morrissey? Who do you have?

Big Zykov fan so no brainer for me. But Morrissey WILL be a great player.

Hey guys, I'm finally done with my extensive mock(1st round). Took me about 8 hours.

It's in French, but you can still go check out the names if you're Anglo.

Have fun!

I just found out about the Bolts buying out Lecavalier's contract, Wow, Montreal will be abuzz about that news. Vinnie might be a great teacher for Galchenyuk besides filling out a center position that the Habs have right now.

While I love the Zykov pick, Kerby Rcheyl skipped over in the 1st round? I have a hard time seeing him get past the Leafs.

Great try Étienne. Would be really surprised to see Mantha go that soon. But hey, actually one mock is just as great as the other. And honestly, I would like Zykov. But Rychel will be picked in the 1st.

Do we have any idea if the Habs organization are acting like they own that fourth-round pick? It must have been considered when looking at the players they're targeting...

This is in Wikipedia...

Notes
1 The Columbus Blue Jackets' fifth-round pick went to the Montreal Canadiens as the result of a trade on June 29, 2011, that sent James Wisniewski to Columbus in exchange for this pick (being conditional at the time of the trade).[61] The condition – Wisniewski is signed by Columbus for the 2011–12 NHL season[61] – was converted on July 1, 2011.[62]
2 The Montreal Canadiens' fifth-round pick went to the Calgary Flames as the result of a trade on January 12, 2012, that sent René Bourque, Patrick Holland and Calgary's second-round pick in 2013 to Montreal in exchange for Michael Cammalleri, Karri Ramo and this pick.[63]
The NY Islanders had previously conditionally acquired this pick as the result of a trade on December 28, 2010, that sent James Wisniewski to Montreal in exchange for a second-round pick in 2011 and this pick (being conditional at the time of the trade).[64] The conditions – Montreal reaches the 2011 Stanley Cup playoffs and Wisniewski plays in at least 50 percent of Montreal's playoff games[64] – were converted on April 10[65] and April 27, 2011,[66] respectively. The Islanders will receive Montreal's fourth-round pick in 2013 due to Montreal trading this pick to Calgary.

You are doing this with the sole purpose to hear Gaston Therrien saying..."ENCORE un américain....." Et Erne et Poirier et Dauphin qui sont disponibles....********....

One thing is sure....seeing Gauthier and Mantha being picked would help us immensely to not feel as if we missed something....or be criticized for not picking any of those 2 guys.

Which is incredibly clear for us but isn't for....the NHL.....the Habs.....the Isles....and every other journalist out there...

Unless the conditions were reported wrong and it was about Wisniewski re-signing in Montreal?
