Does Ben Smith get his name on the Cup since he played in 1 Stanley Cup Final game?

Yeah, one of the cooler stories IMO. Good for him.

Everyone that played last game, Carcillo, Mayers, Bollig, and Smith will get their names on the Cup. I wonder if Brookbank will get on the Cup. I think they get 53 spots but that includes coaches, trainers, and front office personnel

Agreed. Assuming that Carcillo and Mayers get petitioned, the only guy I really feel bad about at all would be Jimmy Hayes. He has played 41 regular season games as a Blackhawk(10 this year) and 2 postseason games last year. He hopefully will be the next Bryan Bickell, who was in a similar spot when the Hawks won in 2010(Bickell actually played in 3 postseason games against the Predators if I remember). I hope Hayes is one of those late bloomer players who helps contribute next year.

The only other guy that played more than 1 game that won't get his name on the Cup(barring CarcilloMayers petition) is Jeremy Morin who played 3 regular season games with 1 being the last game against the Blues. Hopefully that drives him to make the team next year like Hayes.

Brookbank played 26 games, so yeah. He helped keep Rozy healthy for the playoffs with allowing Q to give Rozy games off and not be so terrible.

Besides filling in for Rozsival and the other D when they missed a game, didn't Brookbank play on the 4th line a few games?

Unfortunately some people got a bit out of control and broke a lot of windows in Lakeview and Lincoln Park last night.

While that's certainly unfortunate, at least people didn't riot, loot, and set cars on fire and things of that nature.

I was in Wrigleyville and Lincoln Park last night, and things could've gotten much worse, there were literally about a million drunk people roaming the streets.

I recorded all 5 hours of WGN starting at O'Hare. A keepsake. I was up til 5 AM, too amped up to sleep! R U related to John Tavares Sr.? I used to watch him play lacrosse in Vancouver, and I trained with a few Burrard players back then.

I just meant was the footage of Oduya drunk live earlier today, or just a clip from last night/earlier today.

I was up till around 4am drinking, watching vids online and reading stories. Had to work at 7am though. Got nothing at all accomplished at work today.. Just kinda watched more videos and read more stories.

Haha, not related. Just a fan of John Tavares. 'Tama' was the name of one of the members of the mid-80's WWF tag team 'The Islanders'. It's not really as clever of a name as I think it is

All I can think about right now is that five years ago the Hawks had made the playoffs once in eleven years and all my friends pitied me for cheering for them.

It is unreal how much has changed.
