Couldn't hear a thing during the rally, anyone know if a recording of the whole thing is available online?

It is a picture of a million fans with the city skyline in the background

I was there too and I could barely make anything out either.

PS - ABC completely muted Crawford's speech and closed-captioned it, but you can see it on youtube

We ended up just north of Balbo on Columbus, west side of the street. After the parade passed us, we left for shade and decided to go eat instead. We were hungry and dehydrated! I am taping the rebroadcast instead to hear what all the guys said during the rally.

They need to not have the person who sets up Easter egg hunts set up rallies anymore.

Yeah, most of the city sponsored festivals I've been to in Grant Park have had far better stage and sound setups.

And thousands of people dashing to a barricade resulting in everyone being crammed in like sardines.

Did anyone else spot the Shawinigan Cataractes team bus at the Thompson center after the rally?? What was up with that?

I don't know if it was already mentioned, but Stan Mikita wasn't at the rally. I remember hearing a while back that he was battling cancer. Hoping everything is alright with Stan and hope to see him around the United Centre in October.

It's a proper name, dialect doesn't change it. Just as Air Canada Center would be wrong.

I also noticed he was missing. That was a little dissapointing. I hope a return of cancer was not the reason.

Maybe he just thought it'd be best not to deal with the heat.

Still wish I could've gone to it. The 2010 parade was an absolute blast.
