Say what you want, but I feel bad for the guy for getting crucified by our media for being himself. We really have no idea about this bad teammate BS, but the media completely vilified him.

i just called Bryz. He answered phone and said, "Congratulations to you guys," then hung up on me

I phoned Bryz a second time to ask about #flyers buying him out. He said he doesn't want to talk and hung up on me again.

Off he goes with a boat load of cash. Now who do we get in net alongside Steve? Interesting times indeed.

they didnt want to weaken themselves by announcing anything. Once the Bernier deal fell apart the flyers could announce the news everyone speculated.

Agreed it was the right move given the cap issues his contract created, but man. What the hell did Randy Miller expect? "HAI BRYZ U BEN FIRED LETS TALK"

Punching Timmy in the face would be a start.

Would celebrate if we get Rayzor back.

in all seriousness I do hope they have a plan in place once the buyout is officially put in place. Not many options on the FA market.
$1.6 million for the next 14 years. Must be nice.

So Randy goes from saying Bryz hung up on him to all of the sudden he read him the Riot Act on how we all suck? Sorry Randy, I don't buy it.

I understand your thinking, but I doubt Homer made this decision based on what the media and fans think. I would have to assume that it's based on locker room stuff, or they just don't think he's good enough to justify that humungous big contract.

I totally get the logic for the buyout and I agree it was the correct move for the team's well being, I do not think the media were a factor. I am just saying, they need to just finally go about their business and leave him alone. He's no longer our issue.
