Same as what Ranger players think.
Not sure if income is taxed on only that earned while "working" in the city, i.e. 41 games a year.
Additionally, I wonder if visiting teams playing in the city have their income taxed for those games they play here. It's a fat tax and not chicken feed.

I know that people love to make fun of the weeknight prices to go to Islanders games at Nassau...

Check out the stub hub prices on the Nets tonight.

Why? They already have an arena with one end closed off with no seating.

True. Too bad we're stuck with it for hockey. Concept seems pretty amazing. Talk about versatility. Who knows if it will ever get built, I couldn't imagine how much it would cost. The thread didn't say - a few posts indicated likely over a billion. (Canadian vs us?) maybe we can float another voter referendum!

Jerry Jones might do it in 2 years when he's bored of his current stadium.

Has anyone been to the Barclays yet?

I just bought tickets to the pre season game on Sept 26th. Upper Sideline section 207. I'm in one of the first rows so it shouldn't be too high up. Never been to the barclays before. Heard that there are a lot of seats with obstructed views. Has anyone here experienced that? I hope thats not the case.

Have been there a few times. Section 207 is right on the red-line so you should not have any obstructions. Only thing is the 200 sections at Barclay's are extremely steep and way higher up then the coliseum. I would compare it to the upper section at Prudential Center.'

Edit: First few rows should be great seats

On a serious note, did you get them from ticketmaster?

I've been there many times.

In my view, the better seats in the second deck are the ones behind the net because that part of the second deck is significantly lower than the ones that are towards center ice.

When you get there you'll see what I mean.

I'm thinking I'll probably go for the area at the top of the lower bowl with the tabletops. I have those seats for the pre-season game this year. If I like them, I'll probably go with those come 15-16.

God damnit. The Brooklyn game just HAS to be the same night as the Rise Against concert. Urgh.

Got mine on Stubhub. There weren't many seats left in that area.

A 3D seat visualizer of the BC as constructed for the 2015 should be up later in. July.
