As a Rimouski fan I am devastated by this news - Boucher did a fantastic job
I understand well.
However, I read on Twitter some people commenting how he's leaving the Oceanic for the same job in Quebec. If he enps up being head-coach/GM in Quebec, it isn't the same as being only a GM for Rimouski. He'll get more exposure just by being a head coach. Also, he supposedly really likes teaching to young players. In Quebec, he'll be able to do that while being close to his family.
I can see why people in Rimouski are angered by this move but you can't blame him for seizing the opportunity when it comes.
