Am I the only one getting excited about some Olympic Curling? (The hockey will be fun, too.)

LOVE watching curling...I'm with ya!

Sked doesn't look too bad...max road trip 4 games (twice)...11 of 15 on the road from 26-Feb through 25-Mar might be a bit ugly.

Can someone remind me what the schedule format is with the 4 divisions now. Every team home-and-home outside the division? Is there any special significance to the other Western division in the schedule?

I must say I couldn't agree more lol. I don't have any idea what the NHL is thinking on that one.

I think it is hilarious that they waited so long to announce the names of the Conferences and that is what they gave us. I was expecting some proper names.

I have to agree.

As for the Blues, I'm satisfied with staying "Central Division". Also pretty excited to add Colorado, Minnesota and Winnipeg to the division. I'm ambivalent about adding Dallas, but maybe some rivalry will develop there.

But the Avs games are already fun, now will just be more intense. Minnesota and Winnipeg have some of the best fans and best arenas. Road games there will be great.

We got our new division set up now on these boards. Nice!

Looking forward to developing some new rivalries (Minnesota, Colorado).

It's nice to see ex Blues Journeyman forward Glen Metropolit who also played for 6 other NHL teams get a division named after him, what else can you say? It's the NHL...

I wanted player names. So much cooler then geography and "metropolitan"

Also I can't really explain why, but I would have liked Midwest a whole hell of a lot better than Central. Don't ask me why.

In particular if the curling girls make another calendar.
Irene Schori and Melanie Robillard have a special place in my...heart.

Seriously, I believe the NHL could actually screw up a one car parade. Nothing makes me feel better about my skills at the job I do than watching the NHL collectively stumble over their own feet over and again.

Not a bad idea, although the number of terrible puns on NHL.com and the overuse of the word "explosive" might make this get old in a hurry.

I'm not, hope Columbus does terrible.

I don't really care for any team in the East really. I kinda like Buffalo and I admire the style Boston plays, but other than that....
