I think someone is going to pay 4 mil per on a 3 year deal.

The fact that he wasn't man enough to admit what he did is the reason he's hated in Montreal.

In my case I was joking. I wouldn't mind someone like Ference on the Habs, even though I don't like him at the moment, being a Bruin and all.

They have every reason to be. First he makes a gesture as he did then he blames it on the glove??

What a load!
Ive watched him since the day he was drafted, though the remainder of his junior career, through his first training camp with the Penguins (where he dropped the gloves with Matt Barnaby) and throughout his career.
He doesnt "act tough". The kid is tough. He is no heavyweight but he is the first to stand up for a teammate and he isnt afraid of anybody.

I would welcome him back with the Penguins, but they kinda screwed him a little bit way back in the day.
At any rate, Im not all that mournful for him as there will be a market for his services. And you cant blame Boston for wanting to give the youngsters a more prominent role on the team.

I can speak for the majority of Flames fans when I say this....

PLEASE, ANDY PLEASE COME BACK

He is exactly the guy we need to mentor our young defensemen and school Giordano on the art of being a leader.

Losing Ference and replacing him with Krug/Bartkowski is hardly sinking the ship. Ference is a great guy and I'm going to miss him a lot, but his skillset is VERY replaceable. His personality and leadership? Maybe not as much, but we have guys who can fill that role.

But his skills are replaceable.

Seriously

Why would he come out and say "ya I flipped them off". The glove malfunction thing was clearly sarcastic, people need to chill

Edmonton will offer him a pretty decent contract I'd think.

I can see a lot of teams giving him offers. Im guessing term will be the biggest factor on where he signs though.

Come to TOR you will love it here. You can still give the Habs the finger.

I have ST in Boston and love Andy Ference. What a leader on and off the ice.

Most Boston fans love him. He is so good for Boston and the B's.

I hope he ends up somewhere good.

Great player and person.

I am very sad he is leaving.

I'm sure winning a Cup with the Bruins has helped that somewhat () but you can tell he still loves the city. His bit about Iggy and Regehr in the Cup celebration in 2011 had every Flames fan in tears.
I will be cheering for him where ever he goes. I really liked him here. He sticks up for his teammates and is great for the earth and community.

I thought in this last round in the finals he was one of the better d men for the B's. I hope the Bruins aren't making a big mistake here.

Oilers will probably look into him but how many years you think he has left on him? Wouldn't want to overpay too much.

I was joking, and there's no way he would sign in Montreal. If he did, Bruins fan would hate him even more than Habs fan do presently.
