He's off to Europe I'd say.

Blue Jackets

I think Jags will end up on one of those teams next season....or whoever has the best chance of playing Pittsburgh in the playoffs.

I think Canada is still on his list so maybe Montreal? Toronto? (LOL had to put it in.)

Even though it will never happen i wouldn't mind if he went to the sens. If alfie retires, the sens will really only have one veteran player left on the team. It would be nice to add another.

Enjoyed his time here, but we can't go that long without our second line winger not scoring any goals next season.

The Bruins won't bring back a slow, over the hill winger who can't score goals. You don't say.

It's probably not so likely, but I'd be pretty happy to see him on our 2nd line with Evander Kane and *hopefully* Mark Scheifele. He might be able to push Buff to get into better shape too!

Because he's a natural right wing, because it's definitely only a 1 year contract and because of the added benefits of his incredible experiences as a hockey player and his huge commitment to fitness (which we generally don't have) I say Winnipeg should be willing to overpay a little for him. $3.5-4M.

I wouldn't be shocked if the Oilers talk to him. They expressed interest in him before.

He loved playing with the young talent in Philly. Imagine him tutoring Yakupov....and Nicushkin

I wish the Wings would take on Jagr for a year, but it won't happen for sure. We have too many ****** forwards on guaranteed contracts right now.

Any idea what his contract demands are? It's virtually guaranteed to be 1 year, but I could honestly see him getting anywhere from 3m-5.5m Despite the lacklustre playoffs, he had a terrific season overall.

I'd feel comfortable giving him anything under 5m from the Canucks(although obviously if he'd come cheaper that would be great), if we manage to find the cap space.

I would love to see him play for the Oilers, too bad he's not what we need at this point. Two years ago we could have used him.

Not unexpected. He should finish up his career making $ in the KHL.

Reminder that Jagr would have been second in goals and points this year for the Bruins given his full regular season production.

I wish. With Gionta out with an injury and Ryder gone, it would be nice timing.

Rene Bourque - Tomas Plekanec - Jaromir Jagr
Alex Galchenyuk - Lars Eller - Brendan Gallagher
Max Pacioretty - David Desharnais - Brandon Prust

And? That's like saying a businessman should be content his company racked in a million in profit and not strive to double it.

Man wants to fill his pockets a little more before his career's done. Frankly, go for it if you can.

I'd gladly welcome him back to Pittsburgh. He needs to retire with the Pens.

He has already said that he wants to play in the NHL next year as long as a team will have him and I am sure he will find a team that will. I believe it is on the Bruins website in an interview with him.
