2013-14 Scoring Title

Who will finish the 2013-14 with the most points ?

* Let's assume MacKinnon and Drouin won't be back...

I'll go with Peter Trainor.

HMs to Charles Hudon and Matthew Boudreau

Boudreau won't have much help next season in Shawinigan. The young Beauvillier is a good player but won't be on top next season.

There's several other potential players. Erne , Duclair, Gauthier, Lalancette, Poirier , Barbashev, Brouillard etc..

Trainor because he'll be better surrounded than Zykov, and will not miss matches due to WJC

Picked Trainor because he won't go to WJC like Hudon and will have a better supporting cast than Mantha (who could very well miss a week for WJC training camp too though I doubt he makes the team).

I think Hudon will be so dominant it won't even be funny. He'll be a distant #1 when he leaves for the WJCs and when he comes back, will be traded to a top contender. Which means he should put up enough points in the second half to make up for his lost games. I see him scoring around 105 pts in 55 games.

I'm not sold that Hudon will dominate the league next year, so given that he'll be missing some time due to the WJC in Malmo, I'm going to go with Trainor. Mantha leads the league in goals, though.

I tgink a 20 year old like M-O Brouillard has a good chance to compete for scoring title if he keeps his head straight on that strong Gatineau squad.

Torn between Zykov and Mantha. Went for Mantha in the end.

So Tkachev is going to walk in a new country, new team, new coach that's completely rebuilding from scratch and be the second best scorer in the league I hope your right, but, i cant see that happening.

Agree, He was under a ppg in MHL last year so I can't see him scoring at that rate. 65-70 more realistic imo

The bolded will be much higher. Also doubt Ehlers pots more than 50+. Tkachev is good but I think 55-65 is a more realistic number.

I think that Darcy Ashley may be this year's Josh Currie. Hes always been a productive player in the Q, Give him top line minutes with Ehlers and maybe Ryan or Ciampini and 1st power play minutes and I don't think 100+ pts is farfetched. Especially considering that hes not going to miss time due to tournaments or anything in December.

Louick Marcotte is another player to watch in Val Dor. I could see him scoring 40 goals this season.

91 points for Lazarev? surprised no CB fans are in here putting that down or jumping for joy

I wanna see healthy Carrier. He could have been 100+ point player if he was healthy and had a consistent linemate last season lol

He'll likely be traded at Christmas
