I'd give you Wagner, not Holland. Those two aren't that far apart.

I'd do it. I'm a big believer in Seguin.

Ryan seems like a Boston type of player, maybe this could be worked out somehow.

As posted I'd do it. They seem about at the same value, and there are good reasons why both clubs might consider it. I still think Seguin is in a Bruins jersey next year.

If that's the package then Boston would need to add a pick or something. I dont see where Holland fits in if we trade for Seguin, and Boston would be getting a center back. But, that's too much. Boston needs to add.

From what I've gathered, a good amount of Boston fans don't like the idea. I doubt it would be a straight up trade too.

Holland's somewhat redundant with Seguin in the line-up(although obviously either could move to wing and whatnot), and I'm a huge believer in Seguin, so I'd definitely do it, even with Holland involved.

I don't see how a straight up trade makes sense for Boston. They save 600k but lose four years of control while giving up the five year younger player, and one who's produced similar+ productivity.

With the centers already in Anaheim's system I'd be ok adding Holland.

The basis of this trade really doesn't make sense for Boston even with fair value.

No from Boston, Seguin is arguably already better than Ryan and is 5 years younger.

Pass.

I thought trading Seguin would be to upgrade at another position. They're losing Horton and have two franchise centres already, so trading for a winger on an awesome contract would seem like a huge plus for Boston.

They have to sign Rask and bergeron.

Also he plays wing in boston so its close to a lateral move.

Sure. Lol. Don't know why this is needed, but we can use a 2c like Seguin and groom guys like Etem and Palmieri to replace Ryan.

Seguin, Bartkowski and Koko for Ryan and Fowler. Although it may not work salary wise...how's the value?

Not even close. Fowler has a ton of upside.

You're not getting Fowler unless you add a lot of pieces that you're not going to want to add, so you might as well just not try.

That Fowler guy is pretty important to Anaheim. He's probably the second most untouchable player on the roster behind Getzlaf.

If I had to part with Seguin, I think that Bobby Ryan is an excellent return.
